Healing Mass

NEXT Sat., Feb., 11th at 9 AM On Feb. 11th, we celebrate the

Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. This day marks the first apparition of Our

Lady to a young girl named Bernadette

Soubiroux in Lourdes, France, in 1858.

This day has also come to be known as “World Day of the

Sick,” as many people seek Mary’s intercession for

themselves or for their loved ones who are ill.

We will have special prayers and anointing of the sick.

Please join us in asking Our Lady’s intercession for our

parishioners and loved ones in a special way on this day.

A most heartfelt and gracious thank you to everyone involved in making

Fr. Xavier’s Farewell Party such a

memorable and meaningful event.

Thank you to all our

wonderful societies that always, “step up to the plate,”

and once again excelled. Thank you to all the many

parishioners that helped in so many ways, such as

suppling photos and the making of the ongoing slide

show, providing letters and putting together the bound

books, the taking of such beautiful photographs of Fr.

Xavier and signing the one. Thank you to our

Religious Education leaders, teachers, students, and

Alter servers who presented Fr. Xavier with such

caring words and gifts. Thank you to the many for

baking, serving food, setting and cleaning up, as well

as attending 12 Noon Mass and the reception. As a

parish, we are as strong as the commitment and caring

of our parishioners. It is evident that we are a strong

parish that is compassionate and loving.

In your prayers, please remember the sick

Jesus told his disciples, that a lamp is not lit and then hid under a basket. Instead, it is set on a lampstand where it gives light to all. He told them that their light, must shine before others so that their

good deeds will be seen and glorify God.
