TRANSCRIPT

e are very pleased to bepresenting one of the mostpopular comedies of alltime. A staple in communi-ty and regional theatre, thisNeil Simon classic was firstpresented on Broadway in1965 and was later madeinto a very successful film andthen a television series. In1985, the script was revisedand the play returned toBroadway with a female castthat featured Sally Struthersand Rita Moreno. Mostrecently, Nathan Lane andMatthew Broderick playedOscar and Felix in a soldout Broadway revival.

Laughter abounds whenbest pals Oscar Madison andFelix Ungar become the mostmismatched roommates inthe history of theatre. Felix isfussy and fastidious to a fault, proving that cleanliness isnext to insanity. Oscar onthe other hand is a slovenlysportscaster who can wreakhavoc on a room simply bywalking into it. When Felix

shows up on Oscar's doorstepafter being thrown out byhis wife, Oscar suggests thathe move in with him. Thetwo men try to adapt toeach other's idiosyncrasiesand even try to rekindletheir social lives by ensnaringthe legendary Pigeonsisters, with side-splittingresults. You won't want tomiss this classic comedy.

Director DD.. TTeerrrryy WWiilllliiaammss(Wit, Escanaba in da Moonlight,Duck Hunter Shoots Angel)is leading a talented cast and crew, which includesCivic veterans: RRoonn CCeenntteerrss(A Christmas Story, Over theTavern, The Boys Next Door),

eter Hatcher has some problems at home. But it isn't his mother, who's always study-ing art history. And it isn't his father, who watches TV just for the commercials. No,Peter's biggest problem is Fudge, his disgustingly adorable baby brother. Fudge isalways in Peter's way and messing up everything he sees, whether he's scribbling all overPeter's school project, trying to fly off the jungle gym, or stealing the limelight in theToddle Bike commercial. And when Peter's pet turtle Dribble turns up gone - all gone -everybody's only worried about Fudge, who ate him, instead of Dribble, who got eaten!Based on the acclaimed novel by Judy Blume, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing remindsus that sibling rivalry isn't always sweet… especially when your brother is Fudge!
