SMSC Calendar 2017-2018 Date Activity Links to SMSC 22 nd September ‘Jeans for Genes day’ The school will take part in raising money for the charity Jeans for Genes through wearing jeans, taking part in competitions and activities and purchasing items such as key rings and cakes. To raise awareness of childhood genetic conditions To allow pupils to help other children To build social conscience To become aware of the physical and emotional effect of the conditions discussed on children effected. 28th September Macmillan Coffee Morning Students and staff will donate cakes and tombola prizes for the 2 hour coffee morning during RRS lesson. Students can buy cakes and drinks for a small donation and take part in a tombola. Staff can enter the bake off competition. babies displaced by the Syrian war. This is done through St
