September‘Jeans for Genes day’

The school will take part in raising money for the charity

Jeans for Genes through wearing jeans, taking part in

competitions and activities and purchasing items such as key

rings and cakes.

To raise awareness of childhood genetic conditions

To allow pupils to help other children

To build social conscience

To become aware of the physical and emotional effect of the conditions discussed on children effected.

Macmillan Coffee MorningStudents and staff will donate

cakes and tombola prizes for the 2 hour coffee morning during RRS lesson. Students can buy cakes and drinks for a small donation and take part in a tombola. Staff can enter the

bake off competition.

SeptemberSyrian Refugee appeal.

Students and staff will collect items for mothers and new

babies displaced by the Syrian war. This is done through St

Paul’s Church

Students will sell poppy items from the Royal British Legion on the run up to remembrance day.
