Our first Playgroup meeting will be Monday 2nd September . Mary Valley Poetry Competition cont’d…. All students are required to perform an individual poem at school as part of our ENGLISH curriculum learning and assessment this term. However, only 3 from each year level will be selected to perform Individual poems at the Mary Valley schools competition on the 6th. ALL children are included in the group poems and will be performing on the 6th September at Kandanga School…...a very exciting event!

Parents are very welcome to attend—it’s a great day and very entertaining!

A sausage sizzle will be operating and home baking will also be available. These can be purchased from the Kandanga State School tuckshop with a gold coin donation—no need to order. Students will need to bring their own morning tea and water.

Please complete the attached Student Activity Consent Form and return to the office BY NEXT MONDAY 26TH AUGUST.

School Opinion Surveys…. Thank you to all the parents/caregivers, students and school staff who completed this year’s School Opinion Survey. Please ensure all completed Parent/Caregiver Survey paper forms are returned to the school BY THIS FRIDAY, so that we can send them away to be processed by the cut-off date. We look forward to reviewing our survey results when we receive our school report later this year.
