https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULX4sS7fzhU Today while I was enroute to Los Angeles, the Network of Global Corporate Control had to contend instead with the active discussions on my social media about the Global Currency Reset. YouTube tried to restrict me from accessing my recent video discussing the accounts of the Global Debt Facility so that I could not respond to the questions. People were blaming me for the long time it took to answer them. After I finally got onto my YouTube channel, then the Network of Global Corporate Control blocked my access to the aws.amazon account where I have uploaded correspondence with the UK Parliament and others.
When I couldn’t access the amazon account, I did a word search of the files on my laptop. This led me to some very interesting blogs about the French Revolution and French colonies. So I am going to punish the Network of Global Corporate Control by attaching these interesting discussions following this post. What I am trying to do is to bring people who have just recently learned about the deep corruption in the world on board without boring those people who have been following all along.
Don’t feel you have to read to the end; just realize there are some people who will want to. We are all eventually going to be on the same page. This uncovering of corruption is a one way street. There is no way to turn back the clock to a world in which the elites can keep on exploiting the people. Moreover, enough of us know what is going on to prevent a systemic crash of paper fiat currencies. We know that the United States is merely in interregnum. The crooked politicians’ theatrics are not convincing us any more.

My response was erased so here it is again:
I am going to post the links. It is taking me a long time to log in. I wonder why? It took fifteen minutes: Louise Ellman, Angela Smith, Tracey Crouch asked George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer. Sir Tony Cunningham raised questions about DFID https://s3.amazonaws.com/khudes/international+gold+reserves.pdf David Smith raised questions about the Global Debt Facility https://s3.amazonaws.com/khudes/Twitter6.25.16.1.pdf
Rick Lewis Hi Karen, Sounds like a lot of pressure on you to make a decision for humanity. I have to say there is a pressure building everywhere and a lot are turning to you for answers and of course the determined resistance builds. You continue to show great courage and determination to follow your path. Perhaps the level of fear mongering that appears to be a constant is heightening and in turn raising anxiety for all, along with other world events, elections etc that try swaying public views and more importantly division, this has a direct bearing on energy levels that promotes uncertainty. Have felt this myself with so many decisions made "for" us, feelings of hope can be replaced by urgency for someone to fix it. Lack of information in the mainstream media (the norm for most) promotes distrust and questions. These aren't new thoughts although with the idea that your efforts are coming to fruition the stepping up of historical practices to divide and conquer will also be rising. I believe as you do the hope rests with the people of the world and the humanity that is inside masked by the fear and greed that is manipulated by the few. Let's all be honest about responsibility and support the efforts that have given us hope for change.Keep the faith... :-)

The Network of Global Corporate Control
Clarification about the Global Debt Facility
Karen Hudes Thu, Nov 19, 2015 at 6:40 AM To: Wolfgang Struck CC: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] MDS Media Bureau; Michael McGuire Dear Wolfgang Struck, Please stop trying to put words in my mouth. You are but one of the possible authorized signatories for the Global Debt Facility. The Board of Governors of the World Bank and the IMF must authenticate the signatories, as agreed when the Global Debt Facility was closed for 50 years of sequestration. (See paragraph 6 of the Bilateral Minesfield Breakthrough Successor Agreement Agreement https://s3.amazonaws.com/khudes/BILATERAL.pdf ) At the end of this fifty years of sequestration, there are no more "holders". Those rights were extinguished under the statute of limitations, and for the express purpose of preventing self-aggrandizing. The Board of Governors of the World Bank and IMF are not likely to want to authenticate any of the authorized signatories who try to assume the powers of the Board of Governors or try to confuse the situation in this most unconstructive way. I would like to take this opportunity to inform the recipients of this email that the days of the fractional reserve fiat currencies are now over. The Network of Global Corporate Control is in receivership in the Global Debt Facility. I am currently in the Netherlands. Herman Wijffels, former Executive Director in the constituency headed by the Netherlands (which includes Israel), has also made this point.

Dear Karen Hudes, Too bad you do not want to understand even the basic thing that I do exactly the opposite. I happen to know where it is. I happen to be in charge as far as our side is concerned. We are the HOLDERS. I am in charge for the Filipino people who do not know this. Marcos was not allowed to talk openly. The Board has CCTV but does not know how to go there and how to open. At least they can see the tunnels and the gold. Marcos always said NO LIFTING and the Board knows it. Marcos has made a plethora of accounts in accredited banks, all accredited with World Bank. Any of these banks has the right to have the true signatory sign letters of credit and put money on the balance sheet. But that is not what you want. You want to create treasury bonds and put banks and countries in debt until they have to borrow more from you. C'mon, we are not all stupid. How many times have I offered to cooperate with the Board? How many times have I offered you to be my lawyer? Eh, I am a nice guy. You don't have to be afraid of me. I am here every day. You could even ask me valid questions and not dabble about bringing the gold out of hiding for the benefit of humanity. We understand that crab. Ask George Bush Sr. (formerly Georg Scherff Jr. with the German Marine 1939) what he did for humanity when he stole the gold under WCT (5,000MT under WCT I and 5,000MT under WCT II). I saw a document the other day where he signed, in 1983 as head of the CIA, with Marcos for 9 Million MT. Where is that for humanity?

Regarding Paragraph 11 BILATERAL, dear Karen Hudes, May I give you a helping hand? It says there, correct me, if I am wrong, as to the rights and duties of Bailor, namely TVM-LSM-666, and Bailee, the Central Bank of the Philippines, that Bailee CBP must exercise care so as not to permit injury to or destruction of the properties of TVM-LSM-666 by himself or third party (e.g. Karen Hudes and the Board of Governors) a f t e r maturity date and that was 2005. Bailee must return the property in good faith to the owner TVM-LSM-666 distinguished in Embargo Act 1807 which as you know is the carte blanche for TVM-LSM-666. Once again, the assets of the Global Debt Facility are in the custody of the Central Bank of the Philippines and they are the O.C.T. 01-4 with gold code 777 plus the precious commodities including Wells Fargo boxes, TOV, Uncut Dollars in the trillions of dollars but basically gold. I am forwarding this email which I received this morning, describing how the Network of Global Corporate Control took over the French Revolution. During the years that the coalition for the rule of law was forming, we have seen how most of our civic organizations have been infiltrated and do not serve their constituents. Any organizations that are going to be set up to “judge” the guilty parties are going to be infiltrated, and most of the facts as we have been taught them were twisted by the Network of Global Corporate Control. We have not yet dismantled the mind control technology, and our health has been compromised. We will have many years to learn and recover. The corruption has been so pervasive and our ability to reason has been so compromised, that it is simply safer to give amnesty. This does not prevent us from forming our own opinions, or sharing them with a wide audience. I am simply advocating that we focus on the very bright future that we have before us because any attempts to mete out punishment are going to be compromised.

From: Simon Black Subject: The future Amerika ? Date: Wed, 18 Nov 2015 22:33:51 -0500 Simon Black: The Law Of Suspects
11/18/2015
Sovereign Man Notes From The Field By Simon Black November 16, 2015 Sovereign Valley Farm, Chile France’s Answer To Terrorism: The Law Of Suspects On April 5, 1793, decorated French military commander Charles Dumouriez caused a sensational panic in Paris when he fled the country and defected to Austria. It had been nearly four years since French peasants stormed the Bastille, the event that historians generally regard as the start of the French Revolution. And hardly a week had gone by since without some major crisis, emergency, or tragedy in France. ~~~ There were regular violent riots across the country-- in Paris, other major cities, and even the rural countryside. Widespread massacres were commonplace. And given that one of the key goals of France’s new revolutionary government was to eliminate Christianity from the nation, civil war between religious factions broke out as well. To cap things off, France was under constant threat of foreign invasion. Austria and Prussia were not only waging conventional war against France, but both nations had sent highly trained agents to infiltrate French borders to pursue violence and chaos from within. It was exhausting. French people were living in perpetual fear, and the wanton death of innocents had become an unfortunately normal part of life. So when it was found that Dumouriez (a French citizen) had defected to the enemy, people hit their breaking points. Enough was enough. And they cried out to the government to save them. The government listened. The very next day, on April 6, 1793, the new French government established the Committee of Public Safety (though it was originally known as the Danton Committee). The Committee was given broad, emergency powers since it was a time of such crisis. And under the leadership Maximilien Robespierre, the French people got their protection. Robespierre passed the ‘Law of Suspects’, allowing the government to essentially
10
imprison anyone they wanted for any reason. It was impossible to tell friend from foe back then; you never knew if someone was a loyalist, or a Christian, or an Austrian spy, or any number of counter-revolutionaries. So people were required to carry special certificates indicating that they were good and dutiful citizens. Those without would be imprisoned, and potentially executed. The University of Chicago estimates that nearly 30,000 either died in prison or were executed as a result of this law. Then there was the Law of the Maximum, which attempted to stabilize an ongoing financial crisis by fixing the prices of goods and services in the country. The law also imposed the death penalty on those who did not follow the rules. They also passed the Law of 22 Prairial, which awarded the Committee even more power to arrest, try, and execute anyone deemed to be suspicious or disloyal. The law also prevented anyone accused of a crime from being able to call witnesses or have defense counsel. Plus it required that ALL citizens report potentially suspicious or disloyal neighbors to the Committee. If you see something, say something. As you are likely well aware, this period in French history became known as the Reign of Terror, or often simply ‘the Terror’. Coincidentally, this is where the first modern use of the word ‘terrorist’ is found. Except that it wasn’t used to describe the counter-revolutionaries. Or the rebels. Or the foreign agents. It turns out that “terrorist” was originally a term used to describe the government officials who created and executed these oppressive tactics under the guise of keeping people safe from their enemies. Governments have a dangerous tendency to never let a serious crisis go to waste. The US government spent trillions of taxpayer dollars to fight a War on Terror that made the world less safe and Americans less free, all to protect them from a threat that has a statistical likelihood of 0.0%. (You’re far more likely to be shot by a police officer than to ever even see a terrorist.) Yes, the desire for revenge runs deep. And that’s understandable. But the greatest thing to fear is not men in caves. It is the consequent loss of freedom and the never-ending cycle of costly, destructive war. Until tomorrow, Simon Black Founder, SovereignMan.com

Dear Christof,
Thank you so much for your email, and most of all,
for your support. I cannot compare what your interview would have been like, because I don't know, but I must
thank you so much for putting me in touch with Lars. I only imagined what it would be like when the corruption
was cornered, and now that this is the case I can say
that it is even better than I had envisaged. Being a part of this network of "truthsayers" is about as good as it
gets.
In finding Chinese media, all you have to do is to say that the Chinese Executive Directors at the World Bank
know me, and so does their Washington Embassy. They
can check with Jiayi Zou, who appears in the memo on Rule of Law that appears in the link on the information
which I gave to the Wall Street Journal in the Veterans Today article:
http://kahudes.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/attachment13.pdf
As far as RT goes, I am forwarding what I just sent
to Teri Buhl. I let NATO know that I was reaching out to RT. This is important so that there is never any
question of intention. All I am pushing is rule of law
in order to avoid an otherwise certain currency war. That is about as patriotic as it gets.
As far as France's role in the 15 UMEOA member states:
I saw this first-hand in a World Bank project that was trying to get the
customs delays lifted in the truck route between Lagos and Dakar (to prevent the spread of HIV).
A priest from Benin was telling me how little it took in the potash and phosphate trade to keep a corrupt regime in place in his
country, and that he feared for his life. Sure, I'd love an interview with you on this! (see the first paragraph above) Let me know
what works for you. A fun part of the interview will be what
was going behind the scenes with DSK and with the French membership in an organization called Society of the Cincinnati.
Here's my letter to DSK that got things rolling, and which was responsible for DSK's lawyer getting appointed as World Bank
General Counsel. (see pages 69 and 70)

Hello Karen. Thank you for drawing my attention to the broken links. I´ll
check up on them a.s.a.p.
Re. Lars Schall. I hope you have reason to agree that Lars is better at doing the interview with you than I am. My forte is
behavior in finance and economics and of course conflict resolution. I´m looking forward to reading and publishing the interview on
nsnbc and hope Lars will get it into Asia Times.
I have written to Prof. Kiyul Chung and tasked him with finding Chinese media which could be interested. It may take time.
RT. Have you been in RT with your case ? They should be i
nterested and have a field day. If you need contacts there, let
me know and I will see what I can do.
A way of getting the attention of both German and French media, as well as EU centered media, would be to have you compare what
is going on at the World Bank / IMF with the French economic system in the 15 UMEOA member states - lovingly called French
Finance Naziism ;). How much do you know about this system and
would you be interested in either co-authoring an article about it or an interview with me about it. One way of relating the two
subjects would be the standard French response to African nations who want to repatriate their Gold, or to nations like
Ivory Coast whose president wanted to leave he club. (Gbagbo) .
French Africa Policy Damages African and European Economies.
The latter are just ideas and have the purpose of letting you
know that you have my full support. If there is anything you would like me to do to help, just call me up on Skype or send me
a mail. Skype = PSYKOLOGHJOERNET
Best regards.

Dear Mr. Karr, I served as gatekeeper attorney in the legal department of the World Bank for twenty years. As required by the Standards of Professional Conduct for Attorneys Appearing and Practicing before the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Representation of An Issuer, [1] I assisted the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in investigations of the World Bank's corporate governance irregularities. I was fired illegally in retaliation. The World Bank's Legal Department falisified documentation proving that I was fired illegally in violation of the DC Rules of Professional Conduct. [2] The World Bank's Administrative Tribunal admitted the falsified documentation in violation of the World Bank's Ethics and Staff Rules. [3] In 2008 Senators Bayh, Lugar and Leahy requested GAO to determine whether World Bank programs are being hampered by internal resistance to increased transparency and accountability. On August 20, 2009, Mr. Svein Aass, the Chairman of the Board's Committee on Governance and Administrative Matters, requested my reinstatement in order to bring the World Bank into compliance on the capital markets. Instead, the World Bank refused to reinstate me, and barred me from entry to its buildings, in violation of Sarbanes-Oxley [4] and the Lugar Leahy Amendment. [5] Dr. Tom Melito has informed me that GAO had to terminate the inquiry requested by Senators Bayh, Lugar and Leahy in frustration because the World Bank was not prepared to provide the necessary access to GAO. In 1947 at the time of its initial offering, the World Bank offered to register its securities "under the Securities Act of 1933 and [give] to the public all the information called for by that Act". [6] In 1949 the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") gave the World Bank a temporary exemption from registration under Section 12 and from reporting requirements under Section 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, but the SEC can revoke this exemption "at any time." [7] This afternoon I was again refused reinstatement.". [8] In light of the World Bank's continued compliance problems, it is incumbent upon the SEC to revoke the World Bank's temporary exemption from registration under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Dear Axel,
I believe Lars intends to publish in Asia Times. The Veterans Today article has been read 4344 times and was
republished in nsnbc at http://nsnbc.me/2013/03/28/the-world-bank-rejecting-the-rule-of-law/
Christof Lehmann said in reprinting the article,
"Its not surprising but the details are shocking and reveal why countries like the BRICS member states,
ALBA members and others see the urgency of establishing viable alternatives to the Bretton Woods institutions
and agreements. The Bretton Woods agreements could, actually, have become something that could
have been beneficial for all of the involved. This article demonstrates once again and with all clarity and detail,
why and how western power and economy brokers continue shooting themselves and western national economies in the foot. "
I would appreciate if you could also convey this to the authorities in Norway's Department of Foreign
Affairs
handling your relationship to the World Bank. It is also noteworthy that Texas is considering the
feasibility of establishing a Texas Bullion Depository to house $1 billion worth of gold bars owned by the University
of Texas Pension Fund that are currently in the Federal Reserve. The governors are all fully informed of the
corruption that is being concealed from the American people. Texas is in good company with Virginia, which
commissioned a
feasibility study for issuing its own currency in case the dollar loses its status as an international currency.

Dear Lars,
Yes, 10:00 EST is fine for the interview; I live in Washington, D.C. Thank you so much for the
background information. I wanted to send you a little background information as well. This relates to your question, "You think
that a world-wide currency
war is certain if the World Bank fails to adhere to the rule of law. How do you come to this conclusion? "
The first email below is to the US Department of Defense employee who managed a project using a game theory stakeholder
analysis which is extremely accurate. I used this stakeholder analysis in 2004 on rule of law at the World
Bank.
The answer to your second question, "You also think that the repatriation of German gold by the Deutsche Bundesbank has
something to do with the problems at the World Bank. Why so?" has more to do with the role of gold in the current international
monetary system, and you can answer it better than I can.
http://www.larsschall.com/2013/01/28/american-bases-in-germany-and-the-gold-basis/
Would you mind if we put this issue in context of Germany's role in the dialogue which I have been
conducting with the World Bank's member countries? The attached documents "mdeutscher" and "llugar" put this into
context.
I am looking forward to meeting you on skype and to the interview.

(commencing on page 16 of http://kahudes.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/board-of-governors.pdf) As you know, there is now a greater than 90% likelihood of a currency war unless the IBRD is brought into compliance with federal and state securities laws.

Dear Ms. Booze,
Thank you for your email. It is my understanding that one of the two members of the Newsmakers' Committee resigned, and that
Ms.Angela Greiling Keane is the only remaining member of that Committee.
The task of bringing the World Bank into compliance with the securities laws is now before the
Securities and Exchange Commission,
the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the National Advisory Council for International Monetary and Financial Policies, the
National Association of Attorneys General, as well as the International Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions and the other 186
member countries of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
As I have previously informed Mr. McCarren, the National Press Club became caught up in the
question whether Mr. Zoellick is
above the law in 2007 when Robert Zoellick give a speech at the NPC. A retired UK official recently
advised me to go the credit
rating agencies after the UK's Select International Development Committee questioned the effectiveness
of the World Bank. The
UK is the biggest donor of grants to the World Bank. The UK's Serious Fraud Office called the SEC about World Bank compliance
on October 12, 2010, which was seven months after the World Bank's membership rescinded the Gentlemen's Agreement for the
US to nominate the President of the World Bank. I warned the US Congress and US Treasury Department
in 2007 that the US would
lose the Gentlemen's Agreement if the World Bank was not brought into compliance.

Subject: US Loses Right to Appoint President of the World Bank
Dear Sylvia,
I am a friend of Sonja Hillgren's, and stopped by today to speak with you. I want to ask the National
Press Club to put on a program
about the serious consequences of the Bush Administration's failure to respect the rules at the World
Bank. I left a CD with Melinda --
the first document contains an email from the European Community concerning a cover-up and abuse of authority at the World Bank.
There are many aspects to this story, including a complaint by members of the Board at the World
Bank representing other countries
that the US tried to prevent Paul Wolfowitz from being fired by threatening to reveal embarassing facts from their private lives. Of course,
this is a serious violation of diplomatic immunities.
The US has been using the World Bank's anti fraud unit as a "goon squad" tool to intimidate staff and
prevent other countries from
finding out what is really going on at the Bank. The Europeans asked for an inquiry, and Paul Wolfowitz
called in Paul Volcker. But the
Volcker investigation did not address the internal governance problems at the World Bank.
The Europeans reacted this week-end by calling for an end to the 60 years' "Gentlemen's Agreement"
that the US appoints the
President of the World Bank and the Europeans appoint the Managing Director of the IMF. "Furthermore, I call for an open,
transparent process, based on merit, in selecting future Presidents for the WB and Managing Directors for the IMF."
http://siteresources.worldbank.org/DEVCOMMINT/Documentation/21728167/DCS2008-0006-EC.pdf The Spring meetings also called
for greater decentralization of the World Bank's activities--which will have a big impact on Washington's largest employer.
I believe that many ramifications of this story are of special interest to the National Press Club. Mike Doyle can tell you what
happened when he invited me as his guest to attend Robert Zoellick's speech at the National Press Club in October. As I mentioned to
Melinda, what would have happened if there was no Washington Post during Watergate?

Texas is helping hold this democracy together, which is more than the Washington Post can claim by continuing to cover up
corruption during the last 6 years whenever I tried to correct the Post's inaccurate reporting.

Dear JILP,
I have not heard back whether you have accepted the article on Rule of Law in Bretton Woods which I
submitted to you on October 31, 2012
for publication in NYU's Journal of International Law and Politics
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bzss7Q0pShvzNWZkQnlmOGZCQ2M/edit?usp=sharing
My litigation in the DC Circuit Court of Appeals is now before the Judicial Conference and the Conference of Chief Justices. The stakeholder analysis'
prediction that countervailing coalitions in favor of the rule of law will develop (page 4, footnote 11) has been borne out by events:
Since my submission, the UK Parliament has published a second statement:
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201213/cmselect/cmpubadm/writev/publicpolicy/m03.htm
On January 14, 2013 Germany announced that it will repatriate 674 tons of gold valued at $17.9 billion. This sends a strong signal to the Judicial
Conference of the United States that decisions of the Board of Governors of the World Bank are to be respected and implemented.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bzss7Q0pShvzS2Npbk9lV0xkWkk/edit
Please let me know whether I should update the article to include the developments since submission of
the first draft or whether I am free to
submit the article for publication elsewhere.

Dear Ms. Bellows,
Your President's message at the beginning of 2013 is very apropos:
"The American Bar Association has always been at the forefront in discussing issues that affect the legal profession. For this reason,
our association has assembled the Cybersecurity Legal Task Force and charged it with examining ways to help lawyers protect their
practices and their clients’ confidential information and intellectual property. The task force will also position the ABA to contribute to the
national dialogue about cyber issues."
The American Bar Association has been at the center of these issues for many years.

The attorneys general of the 50 states are meeting this week. I am forwarding an email to New York and California. I spoke to Eric Schneiderman's assistant at length last week.
The states are responsible for protecting holders of World Bank bonds as well as for licensing lawyers.
In 2010 the DC Bar Board on Professional Responsibility in Bar Docket No. 2009 D441 declined to intervene when a World Bank lawyer altered evidence in violation of Rule 3.4(d) of the District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct. The Government Accountability Project filed an associated complaint against another World Bank lawyer licensed by the DC Bar, described in http://www.commondreams.org/newswire/2010/04/06-3.
I will keep you informed on the FBI's response.

Dear Jim,
Today I reported to the World Bank, informing Allied Barton's security personnel that I was duly
reinstated by the shareholders of the World Bank. Allied Barton illegally denied me a security badge. An Allied Barton officer raised his voice to me. The
World Bank, under Dr. Kim's presidency, called the DC police on a legal officer of the World Bank whose reinstatement was necessary in order to
qualify for the US contribution to the World
Bank's capital increase.
Notwithstanding that the World Bank refused to confirm any request to the police in writing in an attempt to evade accountability, I left the premises
at the request of the DC police. However, I did report to the 2nd District Precinct that the DC police had been derelict in their duties.
It is incumbent on DC police to respect the authority of the World Bank's shareholders. Captain Michael Reese needs to direct his officers to comply with
District of Columbia securities laws, and not perpetuate illicit corruption by failing to provide accurate financial statements to World Bank bondholders who
reside in DC. This abuse of authority is driving down US and World Bank credit ratings, weakening if not
dissolving NATO, and preventing the World Bank's shareholders from fulfilling their responsibilities in the Bretton Woods institutions to avoid an impending
currency war.

Thank you for taking my call. The story I want to tell is how Senator Lugar has been heading the fight in Congress since 2005 against corruption at the World Bank. Senator Lugar wrote 3 letters to the World Bank in 2007 when I reported corruption at the World Bank to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. After the World Bank fired me, Senator Lugar called for a GAO investigation. http://citizenoversight.com/pdf/blwb.pdf But the World Bank only stonewalled. The US Congress said that the World Bank would not get any money until they made whistleblowers whole, but the Treasury Department did not tell Congress how the World Bank is still refusing to protect whistleblowers. As you know, at the end of this year, Senator Lieberman will retire from the United States Senate. As his fourth term in Congress
draws to a close, he wanted us to take this opportunity to thank you for having allowed him to serve our nation. He considers it an
extraordinary privilege.
Over the years, he has appreciated having the benefits of your thoughts and concerns on important legislative policies and their impacts on Connecticut, in particular, and the nation, as a whole.
He has been proud to have served as Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Among his top priorities in the Senate has been the advancement of initiatives to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our citizens; to
preserve the important freedoms that we all dearly cherish and enjoy; and to preserve the pristine beauty of our nation’s irreplaceable natural treasures.
Regrettably, the Senator was unable to fully address your concerns before he left the Senate. He encourages you to reach out to his
successor as chair of the Committee, Senator Tom Carper, when the 113th Congress comes into session next year.
Senator Lieberman wants to add that an active and engaged citizenry is essential to our democratic process of government. As such,
he hopes you will continue to stay in touch with your elected representatives in the future. Lifting your voice, and working together with those in Congress and in the Administration, you really can make a great difference.
He wishes you every blessing.
Sincerely, The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee

Dear Elise,
This matter has only escalated since I last contacted you on it. Your Committee has jurisdiction over GAO,
which withdrew from an inquiry into corruption at the World Bank requested by Senators Lugar, Leahy and Bayh.
Could you all just follow up with GAO again? Perhaps all that is needed at this point is a single phone call?
GAO was out of line in complaining that the World Bank refused to cooperate when the World Bank was
required to cooperate with GAO under the terms of its protocols with the International Organization of Supreme
Audit Institutions.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Karen

Dear Brian,
This festering matter has escalated since I last briefed you on it. Germany's 1/14/13 decision to withdraw 674 tons
of gold valued at $17.9 billion from the Fed. is in response to US' refusal to implement the decision of the World Bank's
Board of Governors to bring the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development into compliance.

Will Senator Boxer as a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations weigh in on this? There is a 95%
likelihood of a currency war if the US does not correct the inaccurate financial reports to the World Bank's $135
billion worth of bondholders.
Best,
Karen

Dear Mr. McKeon,
This matter is currently before the World Bank's bond rating agencies. The political analysis which predicted in 2004
that the US would lose the right to name the President of the World Bank unilaterally unless there was rule of law at
the World Bank is now predicting a currency war.
The European Parliament suggested Clare Wells, Deputy of the European Parliament's Washington office, as a counterpart.
The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee is also considering the World Bank's compliance issues.

Dear Ms. Wells,
I am an American lawyer who studied development economics at the University of Amsterdam. Aaron Broches, the
World Bank's longest serving general counsel, gave me the "operating manual" for the World Bank. With the following
testimony from Pieter Stek, a former Executive Director from the Netherlands, I invoked applicable securities laws:
In a multilateral institution which should be governed by the rule of law and high standards of probity the charge of
concealment from the Board of Executive Directors of information relevant to the exercise of its duty of supervising
management and the persecution of the person who brings this to light is extremely serious. If correct, which I believe,
this poisonous cocktail undermines good governance and ultimately the effectiveness of the Bank in fulfilling its mandate.
I shall continue to assist Ms. Hudes in her efforts to have due process brought to bear, preferably by the Bank itself, on
these issues of governance.
On March 8, 2012, the US Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit, ruled in my favor that the World Bank waived
its immunity to me as a bondholder. On March 19, 2012 the Appeals Court ordered the World Bank to reach agreement
with me how the matter would be briefed on appeal. When the World Bank refused to meet with me, I asked the Court
of Appeals to consider how issues in my case against the World Bank and its external auditor, KPMG, were affecting the
World Bank's bond ratings. This matter is now before Fitch Ratings, Standard and Poor's and Moody's.
The appropriations committees of the US Congress are currently deciding whether to disburse the World Bank capital
increase because of the Bank's failure to comply with the following conditionality:
Section 7082(a) REFORMS.--Funds appropriated by this Act may not be disbursed for a United States contribution to the
general capital increases of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development...until the Secretary of the
Treasury reports to the Committees on Appropriations that such institution, as appropriate, is making substantial
progress toward the following:
***(4) implementing best practices for the protection of whistleblowers from retaliation, including best practices for
legal burdens of proof, access to independent adjudicative bodies, results that eliminate the effects of retaliation, and
statutes of limitation for reporting retaliation;"
The Economic Affairs Committee of the UK House of Lords is also considering these issues after the US Securities and
Exchange Commission refused to cooperate with the UK's Serious Fraud office on the matter in 2010. On March 29, 2012,
after considering evidence about accounting problems documented with the International Development Select Committee
in the UK House of Commons, the Economic Affairs Committee recommended that funding to the World Bank should be
reduced “while a more detailed re-evaluation is carried out.”

European Perspective on the Current State of Transatlantic Relations Transatlantic Relations have always been in the
mainstream of international politics. Crucial issues determined by a strong political will and various policy decisions on
both sides of the Atlantic have necessitated important transatlantic decision making. Current themes of transatlantic
relations include the future of the economy, war and peace in the Mediterranean basin, energy efficiency, the security
of energy supplies, and terrorism.
Giorgos Dimitrakopoulos will be analyzing European perspectives on these issues drawing on general historical and institutional context.
Dimitrakopoulos will use case studies focusing on the recent developments in the Mediterranean basin and energy
efficiency and the security of energy supplies in his discussion.

Dear Karen Hudes
I have got your information and informed our Department of Foreign Affairs which handles Norway’s
relationship to the World Bank. They will of course have to evaluate the information. Thus there was
no chance for an immediate response to Precinct Commander Michael E. Reese. Hope things will work
out despite of this.
For your information the Norwegain Easter vacation is coming up as of tomorrow. The nation will be
very sluggish with most of us on vacation till Tuesday in 10 days. Personally I will be skiing in the
mountains with the grandchildren.
Best wishes

Dear Raymond, It is a far cry from Letterman, but nevertheless, after one day, 3,500 have read the Veterans Today article on governance problems at the World Bank as a microcosm of world corruption. The ABILA's Committee on Multilateralism serves as another microcosm. The ABILA is about to change its entire character and way of doing business with the revisions to the bylaws (look at Sections 5.01 and 6.02 for instance). I am about to place a discussion about the proposed revisions on the agenda of the ABILA's Executive Committee and ask whether it is advisable to reduce the role of the ABILA Executive Committee in favor of its President. I will forward the Veterans Today article to the Executive Committee as well. Cynthia and Raymond,
I offered to meet with Ruth Wedgewood. Ruth did not agree to meet, nor did she call.
I am forwarding my email to the Department of Defense and to Justice Breyer, who has had a front
row seat since I spoke
personally to the Justice in December following my 15 minute conversation with M. Delattre,
France's Ambassador, after the Raymond
Aron lecture. If the Judicial Conference doesn't respond affirmatively tomorrow, I will inform the American
public of this fact in Veterans Today.
Can the ILA help avoid a food fight in the American branch, whose numbers have already been in free
fall for several years
running? The ABILA has been intimately bound up in these governance issues since 2008.
Best,
Karen

Dear Karen Thank you for your most interesting e-mail.I certainly hope the world will nit descend into a series of currency wars. The rationale of the German repatriation of physical gold is to allow the German Government to lend the ECB gold which may be required to offset the purchases of sovereign debt and the Stability loans.I fear that Kim will resist pressure from Congress and he can disregard the Governors of the WB as he can o ly be dismissed for malfeasance. I am really surprised that your reinstatement should be the issue for his trial of strength . Frankly I do not know what more you can do -appear on the.
