IN MEMORIAM - Roberta Moyer 1954-2017

The Friends lost a dear friend this month with the passing of Roberta Moyer. Roberta was our volunteerextraordinaire for over 10 years as director of our used book sales, demonstrating an amazing talent atorganization and attention to detail. She was meticulous and tireless in coordinating our main fundraisingevent, managing the weekly sorting of books, then using her vacation time to insure everything ran smoothlythe week of the sale. If there were a question or problem, everyone knew to just ask Roberta.

She served on the Board of Directors for seven years and volunteered for other events sponsored by theFriends. She set a high standard for volunteering. We owe her a debt of gratitude for the continuing successof our book sales which fund so many of our library’s programs.

Thank you, Roberta; you will be remembered fondly and missed by all.
