Assignment -The Agawa Canyon Disaster

1. Create five(5)laws needed by the group stranded in Agawa Canyon.

-No one is allowed to venture off on their own.

-No one is allowed to harm anyone else.

-Everyone is to be treated fairly and get equal amounts of food &water

-No Fighting,arguing.

-Everyone must help build and maintain shelter.

2. Do these laws differ from our present-day law or are at least some of them similar?How? Why?

Most of these laws differ from our present-day laws because they most all pertain to this situation ,but the can be applied else where for example laws number 2 &4 are similar to the present-day law of no assaults or abuse & murder .

3.Provide a punishment for one of your laws if it is broken and briefly explain why you believe the punishment to be just and fair.

A punishment for one of my laws would be to have that person excluded from the group after having a group voted so that the decision isn't based on one person opinion ,I think this is just and fair because it doesnt take away the freedom and rights of person who broke the law and still allows them a fair trial ,just like they would have had in any outside society.

4.What does the expression, Respect for the law mean to you?

The expressionRespect for the law means to mean that even if you don't agree with the laws that you should still follow them because the are set their for a reason.
