A Note from Fr. Quealy We remember in our hearts, minds and prayers this Memorial Day all those who made the supreme sacrifice so that we are able to live our lives here in America in freedom and justice. Let us also pray for all who, right now, are placing themselves in harm’s way, our military, our police and fire persons, and all who serve our country. To all of them we say a big THANK YOU!
God Bless, Fr. Quealy Today is May’s Brown Bag Sunday. All food donations should be left in the community room. For those wishing to make a monetary donation, checks should be made out to Feeding Westchester*and placed in the basket at the altar or given to the volunteer in the community room. Last month you donated 294 pounds of food and $1,673. Every $1 collected buys $4 to $7 worth of food. Many employers offer a matching gift program. Please check with your employer --your donation to Feeding Westchester may qualify. The need is great - but so is the generosity of our Parishioners. May God bless you. *Food Bank for Westchester has been re-named Feeding Westchester – only the name is different: the organization, mission and location are still the same.
~~~~~~~~ The 38th Annual $20,000 Gala Raffle & Dinner will take place THIS Friday, June 1st at 7:30 pm at the school. ~~~~~~~~ O.L.S. is participating in a Baby Bottle Drive for the babies and mothers helped by Expectant Mother Care (EMC), the largest and oldest pregnancy center organization in the NYC area.
When you leave the church after Mass, please take a baby bottle home and fill it with donations until Father’s Day. Please return all bottles with donations to the rectory.
