Stormy weather didn’t affect the sunny dispositions of the folks who
came out to enjoy this annual Fourth Friday event and support the
ministry of Operation Inasmuch. An added attraction this year was
Greg Hathaway’s live pottery making demonstration.
We are delighted to report that the Bread ‘n Bowls
fundraiser sold 505 bread bowls and 430 handcrafted pottery bowls,
which exceeded sales records of previous years!
Adding to the success of the event were sponsorships, Inasmuch
merchandise, silent auction items and Brunswick stew sales as well
as a music love offering collected by our generous hosts,
Hay Street United Methodist Church.

‘Do What You Can, When You Can, Because You Can! ‘Do What You Can, When You Can, Because You Can! ‘Do What You Can, When You Can, Because You Can! ‘ In Memory of Caroline Harsant Whitley
Our deepest gratitude to Joan Poole & the Pilgrim Gift Shop
for the gift of hand-painted tiles by Laura Reeves to the Inasmuch Family.
And to Greg Whitley & Pam Harsant ….for sharing the memory of your precious wife & daughter.
Welcoming Our Newest Staff MembersWelcoming Our Newest Staff Members We are thrilled to announce the addition of
three new members to the Inasmuch team.
Each time the ministry expands, God sends another good looking, smiling Christian
to join our team! Seriously folks, look at those smiles!
But, we still need enthusiastic volunteers to help, Monday-Friday in these areas:
6:30 to 8:30am Cooks & Kitchen Help
8:30 to 11:30am Receptionist
11:30am to 2:30pm Receptionist
8:00 to 9:30am Compassionate listeners to help our family with the complexities of ‘the paperwork and appointments’ of rebuilding a life.
Vision Statement
To walk among the broken and struggling, being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Mission Purpose
Operation Inasmuch is designed by God to grow and make its home in any church or heart where Jesus
Christ is Lord. Our purpose is to go outside the church walls to a world in need, offering the talents and gifts with which we have been blessed. We believe that God has called us to be His hands and feet as we
share His love with ‘the least of these’.

LAW DAY 2012LAW DAY 2012
What do you get when you take a couple’a’dozen
fine legal minds and unleash their landscaping
and repair talents? You get one happy
homeowner, Mr Wilbur Ray, and a lot of dirty, tired
but very pleased judicial folks.
Thanks to Angel Powell and Hutch Hutchens for
another year of great leadership!
Another Gift Of LoveAnother Gift Of Love Some houses are just destined to be part
of a greater plan; 815 Stamper Road is one
of them. Our deepest thanks to the
Reverend Marshall Dannenburg and
the congregation of Peace Baptist
Church for the gift of this lovely property.
Their generous hearts will insure that God’s
work continues to flourish in our city!
Smiling Doormen To provide a gentle security presence
on weekday mornings at our dining
room doors. Breakfast is served to
125+ people and our hope is for an
orderly and peaceful morning meal.
Volunteers would be on duty from
7:15 till 8:45am. This presence will
give assurance to all of us.
Does this sound like you?
Please give us a call @ 433.2161.
