Church Team leaders and members will be meeting this Sunday immedi-ately after the morning worship service to start the budget process. Please be in prayer that we will stay fo-cused on the Gospel as we make plans for the following year. We are also hosting a Day of Prayer & Fasting in our worship center on Saturday, August 6, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Joel 2:12-14 says,

“Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassion-ate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and

relent and leave behind a blessing…

We need to re-pent of our sins, and ask for God’s forgive-ness and mercy and grace. We need to be broken before the Lord. There will be prayer guides available during this time. Bring your Bibles and spend time listening to God and praying to him. Lakan

Outreach… Angelo State University move-in weekend begins August 19th. We will be offering

our help to the students and also serving lunch. We need your help to accomplish this. We are preparing a meal of hot dogs, chips, and cookies for 300. Listed below are the foods we are in need of: Wieners Hot Dog Buns Chili Grated Cheese Hot Dog Relish Mustard Chopped Onions Ketchup Chips Water Home Baked Cookies If you can help by providing food, money, or your time please
