• 45 minutes

• Tests pupils at Levels 3 to 5.

• Up to 25 questions and worth 40 marks.

• Covers all the strands in mathematics with number being more heavily weighted.

• Interpreting the calculator display in the context of money.

• Transcription errors from the calculator display to the page.

• Misplacing of the decimal point.

• The minus sign for negative numbers

• Keying in errors.
