GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON
In General George S. Patton’s early military career he fought in the Mexican campaign against Pancho Vila and in World War I led the Tank Corps as a Captain, Lieutenant Colonel and Then major. During World War II he became famous for leading the Third Army Division across 82,000 square miles of German occupied territory. More than half of the German Army was captured, wounded or killed by Patton’s Third Army.

General Montgomery served in the first World War on the Western Front. In August 1942 he was given command of the British Eighth Army facing famous Nazi general ErwinRommel.
