NEED TO KNOWThe Zoo closes at 10pm, please leave quietly as our animals will be sleeping. All our animal exhibits close at 9pm apart from:Blackburn Pavilion – 8.30pm Penguin Beach – 9.30pm B.U.G.S – 9.30pm Reptile House – 9.30pm

Gorilla Kingdom stays closed in the evenings so our two baby gorillas can get some kip. Zoos are a little bit unpredictable so sometimes we have to shut areas without notice. Thanks for understanding!

Food and drink is not allowed into animal exhibits. Please make sure you drink up and finish your food before heading inside.

Please remove masks and costumes before heading into our exhibits.

There’s a cash machine by Penguin Beach. Food vendors are card and mobile payment only.

Please note there are no lockers on site.

LiveWired bring their long-running hit show to Zoo Nights! If you like your comedy fast, clever and very funny this is the show for you.

LET US ENTERTAIN YOU… CAPTAIN Z’S SUPERHERO MISSION

Zoo EntranceCaptain Z, zoological and planet hero, needs your help. The state of the planet is in such dire straits he can no longer fight the villains on his own.

There have been rumours of superhero sightings across the Zoo – head to the last places they were seen to recruit them into Captain Z’s planet-saving super squad.

Complete your squad card to be admitted into Captain Z’s hall of fame and receive your hero badge.

THE LIGHT LOUNGE Main Lawn: until 10pm

Enjoy stilt walkers and aerial acrobats or jump on a giant swing and chill out to some tunes.

ANIMAL POP-UP Display Lawn: between 6.30–8pm

Meet some of our animals and keepers as they pop up on the display lawn. And yes, the pygmy goats will be making an appearance…

TRANSFORMATION STATION AND FACE PAINTING

Barclay Court: until 9.30pmDelve into our creature feature cupboard and transform into your spirit animal with wings, tails, ears and face painting. Looking fierce…

WILD YOGA Members Lawn: 8.00, 8.30 & 9pm

Get ready to learn some new moves as you stretch into the downward facing hunting dog, flamingo and elephant poses in these free yoga mini sessions. Spaces are first come first served, so don’t hang about!

Barclay Court ‘Wolf’ down some scrumptious snacks at the world food market. Waffles, burgers, vegan and veggie delights… what’s not to like? Card and mobile payment only.
