IN THE MALTA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

JUNE 2017!!

EuroArt and Leon Promotions would like to invite Bands, Majorette Groups and folk groups

to participate in the Malta International Music Festival 2017. During this International

Festival (5 days, 4 nights), there will be two to three performances in Valletta, Mellieha and

maybe another venue. During the parades and performances at each and every locality,

groups from Malta (bands, dancers, etc.) will also participate. This Festival will not be

competitive.

During your stay at the charming island of Malta, you will also have the opportunity to

experience another type of culture. You will enjoy a friendly relaxing environment full of

charm and history.

The Group will be housed in a 3 star Hotel (on half board basis), situated in St. Julian’s –

Malta’s entertainment mecca.

Following is a draft programme for all groups participating:

THURSDAY 1ST JUNE Arrival of groups at the Malta International Airport. Transfers from the Airport to a 3 star

Hotel at St. Julian’s – Malta’ entertainment mecca.

Dinner at the Hotel

You can also choose to experience Malta’s own nightlife area if you want to… as the Hotel area is

surrounded by bars, clubs, discotheques which stay open till the early hours of the morning after.

FRIDAY 2ND JUNE Guided Excursion to Mdina – Malta’s silent city, a city fortificated all around and most

probably unique in Europe!!

Lunch at the Hotel

In the evening, the first parade and show at Mellieha – a unique beautiful town at

the north of Malta featuring one of the most popular sandy beaches in Malta.

SATURDAY 3RD JUNE In the morning, the second parade and performances along Valletta main streets.

Valletta is the capital city of Malta and it has been chosen as the European City of

Culture for the year 2018.

In the afternoon, there might be an optional excursion to other wonderful places around

the island of Malta, such as Dingli Cliffs, Wied iz-Zurrieq, Marsaxlokk – the fishing village,

etc.

SUNDAY 4TH JUNE In the morning, there might be an optional excursion to other wonderful places around the

island of Malta or maybe to the beach!!! Why not!!

Lunch at the Hotel

In the evening, third and final performance – venue to be advised later

MONDAY 5TH JUNE Departures of groups

Subsidized prices for participating groups:

Adults - participants in twin/triple rooms - €150 BB or €170 HB

Adults – participants in quadruple rooms - €140 BB or €160 HB

Adults – guests in twin/ triple rooms - €175 BB or €195 HB

Adults – guests in quadruple rooms - €160 BB or €180 HB

Children ( 2 – 12 years) – up to 2 in room with two adults - €60 BB or €80 HB

Single room supplement: - €15 per night

* Included in this package/price is one transfer for the group to & from the airport to the

hotel. No transfers can be made for participants arriving at different times but we can

arrange taxis/coach upon request.

The programme of performances can be adapted in due course. Final programme can be

issued only after having confirmations of all participating groups including also the Malta

ones
