PARTSPARTS
•TESTES OR TESTICLES
-oval bodies consisting of fine tubules enclosed in a tough, fibrous sheath
GONADSGONADS
SEMINIFEROUS TUBULES• Produce sperm cell or spermatozoa
EPIDIDYMIS• Mass of tubes along the sides of the
testes• Temporary storage place of the
sperm
VAS DEFERENS• It receives the sperm, carries
them up and delivers them into the urethra
SEMINAL VESICLE• A gland that produce part of the
seminal secretion
SCROTUM• A bag or pouch which kept the
testes cooler than the body temperature
• Made up of involuntary muscle fibers as part of the skin that make the scrotum draw up when chilled and hang down when heated
PROSTATE GLAND• Produces a thin, watery,
alkaline secretion that mixes with the sperm cell and other secretion to form the semen
COWPERS GLAND• located together with the
prostate gland near the upper end of the urethra

MAJOR PARTSMAJOR PARTS
1.Head
2.Neck
3.Connecting piece
4.Tail
• When the sperm penetrates an ovum during fertilization the tail separates from the rest of the sperm, the head and the connecting piece enter the ovum and the zygote is formed
