For starters, a fine coat of pearly-white and navyblue paint covered the tremendous ship. To add
the coat for the Titanic, the ship had to be at alarge dock while workers surrounded the aquaticmobile mass on platforms of different elevationsand slowly slather paint on the sides.

Once painting was done, the workers were able to
add the anchors to the sides. Each anchor weigheda heavy 15.5 tons. Accompanying these colossal-stoppers were 20 lifeboats. Although, 20 lifeboatswere later learned to be a insufficient amount for
all the people that were to ride the ship.

Although most of the ship was constructed from steel, there were many variations of metals used to createnumerous objects for the ship. As an example, thesmall 16.5ft and larger 23.5ft propellers were madeentirely from bronze.
