Registration

accommodations

Registration is open to everyone employed within the criminal justice system. The registration fee is $325 for registrations post-marked or faxed before Friday, May 13, 2016, and $425 after this date. The late registration fee is $525 at the door. The regis-tration fee includes all training sessions, handouts and coffee breaks for the registrant, and planned social functions for the registrant and spouse/guest. Accommodations, travel expenses, and incidentals are the responsibility of the registrant. Payment may be made at a later date prior to the Conference.

Refund policy: If the LDAA office is notified by Friday, June 17, 2016, in writing or by telephone, a full refund will be made. After this cutoff date, there will be no refunds. Please note that NO SHOWS will be billed.

The Association has obtained special accommodation rates for attendees at the Conference site, the Sandestin Resort, located at 9300 Emer-ald Coast Parkway West in Destin, Florida. All rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes and fees in effect at time of check-in (cur-rently 7.5% sales tax, 4.5% bed tax, and 12% resort fee). You can secure reservations by calling the Resort reservation desk at (800) 320-8115 or click here to make online reservations. Our group code is 231910. A deposit of one night’s room rate is required to secure rooms.

Please note that the room block will be released to the general public on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Therefore, early response is encouraged.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE

In the event a guest checks out prior to the guest’s reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early checkout fee to the guest’s account. Guests wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time of 4:00 p.m.; however, rooms may not be immediately available. Also note that check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
