The Commandment Exodus 20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”
The Confession of Sin and Supplication for Grace Holy and merciful Father, we acknowledge and confess before You our sinful nature, our sinful thoughts, our sinful words, and our sinful deeds. Our sick-nesses and diseases derive from Adam‟s sin and ours. We often forget Your love and Your commandments; we often grieve and quench Your Spirit. O Fa-ther, we cry to You for mercy, for saving faith, for cleansing faith, and for heal-ing faith for our soul. Help us to glory in the gospel promises, that we may live in freedom from condemnation. Help us to walk according to Your precepts, that we may live in Your light and love. We pray on the basis of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
The Scriptural Assurance of Pardon Psalm 32:3-5 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me. My vitality was drained away as with the fever-heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to Thee, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin.

The Receiving of Tithes and Offerings
The Offertory Anthem LOBE DEN HERREN PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY Alice Barnett and Jean Pennington, Handbells Praise to the Lord, the Almighty the King of creation. O my soul, praise Him for He is thy health and salvation. All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near. Praise Him in glad adoration. Praise to the Lord who o‟er all things so wonderfully reigneth. Shelters thee under His wings yea, so gladly sus-taineth. Hast thou not seen how thy desires e‟er have been. Granted in what He ordaineth. Praise to the Lord who doth prosper thy work and defend thee. Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew what the Almighty can do. If with His love He befriend thee. Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him. All that hath life and breath come now with praises before Him. Let the „amen‟ sound from His people again. Gladly fore‟er we adore Him.
