I would like to take this opportunity to Welcome you all to the FIRST edition of ‘The Local Murraylands’ It is with a heavy heart I would like to acknowledge the company restructure that resulted in me having to say goodbye to not only a great magazine but also some great colleagues. Recent times have been tough, but I would like to thank the local people and businesses in the murraylands for their continued support throughout this transition period. I would also like to thank everyone for their ongoing commitment to the future editions of The Local Murraylands. The response and comments have been very encouraging in ‘the local’ moving ahead. The positive response to these changes is reflected within this edition and the volume of Businesses seeing the advantages and benefits of advertising with us.

‘The Local’ will continue to service local businesses and the community in a high quality, full colour quarterly publication. Shoot! How do I choose a Wedding Photographer?Wedding Photography can often be the most significant part of any Wedding. It’s the most important visual memory you will be able to keep from your Big Day.

When booking a photographer for your wedding you need to be certain this is someone you can feel completely comfortable around. If you don’t initially click it might pay to look around for another one. You need to be able to build a good relationship with your photographer as you need to be able to discuss the style of images you are after along with the location for shoots.

When you’re looking to choose a photographer, it’s always a good decision to check out any recommendations you have had from friends. Chances are, if your friend was impressed, you will be too. You need to be able to view the work of the photographer. When looking through the photographs make sure you are able to see a full set. Some photographers choose to showcase just the “best ones” from a range of different weddings on their web and facebook pages. Viewing a set will show you whether or not the photography skills are consistent throughout their precious shoots.
