Denmark’s most important resource and the foundation for the country’s success is trust, the trust people share with each other, the trust between employer and employee, the trust in always finding the best solutions. Trust also plays an important role in architecture due to the importance of creating spaces where people can interact, meet, gather, play and communicate, and in that way break down isolation and segregation. TRANSPORT AND CONNECTIVITY CITIES IN MOTION
Free-flowing transport is a major challenge to create, but nonetheless foundational for a liveable city. That is why more and more cities have looked to Denmark for inspiration. In this seminar, we look at the interface between different modes of transport and the infrastructure and masterplans that supports this, and also how future cities can improve traffic safety, and create healthy, people-friendly environments that can reduce congestion, pollution and carbon emission as well as help cities cope with growing populations and workforces.
