Dear Church Family,
Once again, disaster has struck our nation a terrible blow in the form of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Millions of people have been affected. Thousands are homeless and have lost every-thing. Some good news is that we have heard from Lynnwood and Jo Grice that their daugh-ter Robin and her family who live in Houston are safe. Once again, we have an opportunity as Chris-tians to come along side of those around us who are in need, to show and tell the love of Jesus. Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief is already on the scene providing meals and comfort, and will be organizing further relief and recovery efforts in days to come. How can you help? YOU CAN GIVE—go online to baptistsonmis-sion.org, or mail a check, designated for Disas-ter Relief Fund, to: NCBM, P. O. Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512-1107. Or you can give in the offering in worship on Sundays, making checks payable to Ephesus Baptist Church, and memo Disaster Relief. YOU CAN PRAY—we pray as individuals, fam-ilies, and as a church family, that God will turn something terrible into something beautiful, and all to his glory! YOU CAN GO—we’ll get word out as soon as possible on how to get involved with short term relief trips to the Houston area.
Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to
those in need, always being ready to share with others. (1 Timothy 6:18)

Baptists On Mission Rebuild Day Trips each Tuesday
We are now going each week to help in Goldsboro. The van leaves the church campus at 7:00 am, stops along the way at Bojangles, and returns that evening, time depending on a supper stop. For more infor-mation contact John Bentley at 919-280-6159 or Bill King 919-358-5211. This is a wonderful opportunity to join in Kingdom work as we seek to be witnesses for Christ in our Judea (Acts 1:8).
Living Nativity
Just a reminder....our Ephesus Living Nativity is scheduled for December 15,16,17. Team lead-ers are already under way recruiting characters to participate in the event. Each of the seven scenes has a recruiter.....please consider com-mitting to participating if you are asked by a scene recruiter. We have a rehearsal scheduled on December 7, at which time a video will be made for advertising purposes. We have live animals committed for the event and are negoti-ating to have live animals at the rehearsal to be included in the video. This event is an outreach and we will be inviting anyone who would like, to participate. In addition to your participation, we solicit your financial support. If you feel led to contribute, please do so in a church envelope and mark "living nativity" on the front.
—The LN committee thanks you...!!
