Why are Vehicle
Standards important?
At Kensington Tours vehicle standards are
paramount as it is critically important that clients are
transported in vehicles that are safe, well
maintained, licensed and of course delivers a luxury
experience when it comes to cleanliness, comfort
and vehicle amenities.
Vendor Services
Agreement
During the term, Supplier shall:
Safely and securely transport Kensington clients
using vehicles that are of a sufficient number to
comfortably seat all clients, in excellent condition,
including being mechanically sound, properly and
legally licensed, appropriately insured, clean and air
conditioned. Each private tour conducted or booked
by Supplier shall use vehicles with adequate and
complimentary bottled water for each Kensington
client;

Vehicle Standards ✓ Working seat belts for all seats
✓ Air conditioning/heat
✓ Working windows
✓ Odourless (ex. non-smoking, perfume, air freshener, etc.)
✓ Cleanliness (ex. driver cleans car before and after picking up
clients – no garbage, etc.)
✓ Vehicle must be registered and current with any licencing required
by local government
✓ Good condition with no cosmetic damages
✓ Current on all maintenance and repairs (ex. oil changes, no
warning lights, suspension, etc.)
✓ Kensington Tours branding only – no DMC or Supplier branding
✓ Tires appropriate to destination/activity (ex. snow tires, all-season
tires, all-terrain tires, etc.)
✓ Tires in good condition (ex. tread, air pressure, etc.)
✓ Spare tire in good condition
✓ Water bottles available for clients (1 per pax, per transfer/tour)
✓ First aid kit
✓ Emergency kit (ex. emergency blankets, flashlights, jumper
cables, etc.)
✓ Kleenex
Enhanced Vehicle Features

Product Director)
✓ Vehicle is not older than 5 years
✓ WIFI for client use
✓ Power outlets
✓ Pillows and/or blankets for long drives
✓ Umbrella (weather dependant)
✓ Snacks (i.e. fruit, granola bars, local treats,
etc.)
✓ Ice cold water bottles (1 per Pax, per
transfer/tour)
✓ Cool, wet towels
Why are Safari Vehicle
Standards important?
While on Safari clients will often spend extended
amounts of time in the vehicles, thus increasing the
importance of cleanliness and comfort to ensure a
luxurious client experience. The activities on safari,
such as game drives, also require additional vehicle
features and amenities.

✓ Step ladder or stool for ease of access to the vehicle
✓ Minimum 1 pair of binoculars per 2 Pax
✓ Blankets (particularly for early morning game drives)
✓ Power outlets
✓ Snacks (i.e. fruit, granola bars, local treats, etc.)
✓ Kleenex and/or wet wipes
✓ Toilet paper
