Commandants Comments:

31 MAY 2016 - I'm getting ready for our VA Hospital Visittonight, and thinking about our Adopt-A-Highway trash pickupthis Saturday, and the upcoming Department Annual Conventionin Gastonia. Since our next Detachment Meeting is after all theseevents, I'll use this forum as a reminder for all Marines, your

presence at these events will greatly benefit the Marine CorpsLeague, the Detachment, yourself, and your fellow Marines! TheDepartment Convention is where all the Department business isconducted, and each of you have a say in the business of theDepartment, just as you do in the Detachment. In this election year,it is important for me to remind each of you to exercise your rightsand be part of the process. Without participation, you forfeit anyright to complain about the outcome. Be informed, and let ourLord guide your actions! Semper Fi!
