This meeting is required each year because the Centre is operated by an Incorporated Association. Annual Reports will be presented and a Management Committee for 2019 - 2020 will be determined. Nominations for the Management Committee are open now until Friday September 6. Nomination Forms and Nomination Box are available in Reception. The Management Committee meets monthly to discuss the Centre and the Association’s business and operations. Meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month at 1pm. Fashion Show @ The Centre NEW SEASON Spring & Summer Collection from STAFFORD FASHIONS Monday September 9 2 Curie Ave Little Bay 10:00 - Morning Tea 11:00 - Parade commencing Wonderful New Friends Over Winter the Centre has gained many new friends. We’ve been joined by 69 new members and deepened friendships with neighbours near and far. Botany Bay Rotary very kindly gave their support to our Winter Soups program with a grant of $2232. This has been a great boost and has provided the Centre with the means to serve an interesting menu of soups every Tuesday in June through to the end of August. Lots of members have taken advantage of this and have met new members in the kitchen over cups of hot soup and delicious cakes. Thank you Rotary Botany Bay. We also owe a Big Thank you to South Sydney Juniors and Randwick Council for extending support to the Centre with a grant of $4190 through the ClubsGRANT program. This grant will help us further promote the development of friendship between members and new comers. Closer to “home”, members in the Centre’s craft classes have been delighted to be hosted by staff and residents at Jarrah House celebrating the power of handcrafts to people of all ages, from new borns to great grandparents. Coast Centre members donated lovely knitted and crocheted items to the residents and received an overwhelming expression of gratitude for the items and friendship. New works are now in progress. If anyone would like to donate 8 ply knitting yarn for more items, they would be greatly appreciated. A VERY BIG thank you to everyone who voted for the Centre in the Randwick Business Awards. Your support has been rewarded as we have become a Finalist ! Fingers crossed now for the final stages and our bid to be a Winner !

Wonderful New Friends Over Winter the Centre has gained many new friends. We’ve been joined by

i) Adventures in Watercolour - A show by students of Amanda Doctor, Mondays 1.30 to 4pm Opens Tuesday 24 September for one month.

ii) Garage Sale Trail in Little Bay. Over the week-end of October 19 & 20, we’ll be part of the national garage sale trail. Our Sale is entitled “Getting Sold in Little Bay.” This is an opportunity to sell and recycle pre-loved goods. Stall prices from $35 each. We’ll also have our favourite stalls with plants, cakes and BBQ.

iii) Anniversary Garden Party, Thursday November 21. This date will mark the 25th Anniversary of the Centre’s Incorporation in 1994. All members are welcome to enjoy a party in the garden and verandahs on this date. Tickets TBC.

iv) End of Year Luncheon at St Michael’s Golf Club Monday December 16 11.30 for 12noon. Price TBC.
