Course

roadmapThe Globalization seminar is organized in a sequence of 6 sessions that combine lectures and videos,

numerous quizzes and exercises, online reports, online discussions, and ongoing global news

highlights. In addition, you have to complete a team report. For non-SKEMA students, teamwork is

also mandatory! You have the opportunity to ask questions and visit an academic adviser on each

campus. The name of your coach/adviser will be sent by mail to make appointments.

Start reading the modules on Day 1 while initiating online exchanges, but also launch your teamwork

Over the last 30 years, I spent most of my professional time in the global finance industry, first with BNP and with

the Washington-based Institute of International Finance, then with the World Bank and later as CEO of Owen

Stanley Financial. Today, I share my time between tackling global finance issues in the academic field at

SKEMA, and providing strategy guidance to investment funds, focusing on good governance, sustainability and

transparency. Giving a social and time horizon to markets is possible! More about MHB: http://www.developingfinance.org

Globalization is a great springboard for dynamic

and mobile young professionals! But don’t take

it for granted.

There are growing signs of protectionist,

populist and nationalist policies in both

developed and developing countries

So, how to tackle global risks

& opportunities?
