Our military tent canvas is a vintage material, and as such has some small imperfections, stamps, lettering, or markings from the soldiers who used them. We celebrate these imperfections and the shade variations inherent in vintage material. Exact color matches are not possible, but shade preferences are accommodated whenever possible.

Indigo Canvas
Our indigo canvas is dyed in Los Angeles using a natural, chemical free process. As with all naturally dyed materials, this canvas will be prone to some fading in direct sunlight and will change color slowly over time. We celebrate these variations in tone, and enjoy the sight of the material aging beautifully.

We source our upholstery wool from Kvadrat Maharam. The wool and wool-blend fabrics are manufactured to the highest standards in various locations in Europe. We offer an American-made, 100% wool upholstery option from Faribault Woolen Mills, a 150-year-old mill still operating in Minnesota. We utilize blankets that were originally designed for the US Army and Navy in 1917 to create upholstery that is machine washable, soft, and highly durable with a felted texture and heathered appearance.
