STEP 1 PREPALUMINUM, STEEL & STAINLESS STEEL

Clean surface with SEM Solve or Zero VOC Surface Cleaner. Sand surface with 400 grit sand paper. Blow or wipe off dust and re-clean with SEM Solve or Zero VOC Surface Cleaner.

PLASTIC

Clean surface with SEM Soap and a gray scuff pad. Rinse with water and dry. Clean with Plastic & Leather Prep. If contamination still exists, water will bead on the surface. Repeat this step until beading no longer occurs. To promote adhesion on ABS, PVC and other similar plastics, apply a medium wet coat of Sand Free. Apply color while Sand Free is still wet. As the Sand Free evaporates, the color is drawn into the surface, creating excellent adhesion. To promote adhesion on TPO, EPDM, PP and other similar thermoplastics, use Plastic Adhesion Promoter or XXX Adhesion Promoter per instructions.

STEP 2 APPLICATIONAEROSOL

Agitate thoroughly! Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball rattles to ensure color uniformity and to prevent clogging. For best results, use when can temperature is approximately 70°F (21°C).

Coats: 2 – 3 medium wet

Flash Time: 3 – 5 minutes

BULK

Mix thoroughly. Reduce 1:1 with a high quality urethane reducer. A low VOC reducer must be used to maintain 2.8 VOC level of Trim Black Low VOC.

Trim Black Euro Jet Satin is ready to spray. Do not reduce.

Air Pressure: 20 – 25 psi with non-HVLP equipment 8 – 10 psi at the cap with HVLP

Fluid Tip Size: 1.2 – 1.4

Coats: 2 – 3 medium wet

Flash Time: 5 – 10 minutes
