The India Economic Development Corporation is a predesigned business strategy with its own tactics. Essentially it is delivering a complete horizontal and vertical integration to a defined geographic area. The EDC has three key players: The MBA, The CPA, The LLB. (The CEO, The CFO, The CLO.) Food Processing the transformation of raw ingredients, by physical or chemical means into food, or of food into other forms. . Real Property Development Residential, Commercial, and Industrial development involves negotiations with local authorities, representatives of local residents and business owners, as well as with the contractors who perform the architectural designs, construction work, and landscaping, good interpersonal and diplomacy skills are a major requirement. . Textiles is a major industry. It is based on the conversion of three types of fiber into yarn, then fabric, then textiles. These are then fabricated into clothes. . Forest Products, Pulp and Paper any material derived from a forest for direct consumption or commercial use, such as lumber, paper, or forage for livestock. Wood, by far the dominant forest product, is used for many purposes, such as wood fuel (e.g. in form of firewood or charcoal) or the finished structural materials used for the construction of buildings, or as a raw material, in the form of wood pulp, that is used in the production of paper .
Construction Materials The manufacture of building materials is an established industry in many countries and the use of these materials is typically segmented into specific specialty trades, such as carpentry, insulation, plumbing, and roofing work. . Transportation the movement of people, animals and goods from one location to another. Modes of transport include air, rail, road, water, cable, pipeline and space. The field can be divided into infrastructure, vehicles and operations. . Hospitality is a broad category of fields within the service industry that includes lodging, event planning, theme parks, transportation, cruise line, and additional fields within the tourism industry. A hospitality unit such as a restaurant, hotel, or an amusement park consists of multiple groups such as facility maintenance, direct operations . Medical Services is an aggregation of sectors within the economic system that provides goods and services to treat patients with curative, preventive, rehabilitative, and palliative care. . IT Data Communications the underlying principles behind today's industrial communications systems, including Modbus, Data Highway Plus, Ethernet, and TCP/IP. Including control networks. . Waste Management is the "generation, prevention, characterization, monitoring, treatment, handling, reuse and residual disposition of solid wastes". There are various types of solid waste including municipal, residential, institutional, commercial, agricultural, and special: health care, household hazardous wastes, sewage sludge. . Financial Services the economic services provided by the finance industry, which encompasses a broad range of organizations that manage money, including credit unions, banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, accountancy companies, consumer finance companies, stock brokerages, investment funds, real estate funds and some government sponsored enterprises. .
Heavy Construction and Roadways A broad category of infrastructure projects, financed and constructed by the government, for recreational, employment, and health and safety uses in the greater community. They include public buildings (municipal buildings, schools, hospitals), transport infrastructure (roads, railroads, bridges, pipelines, canals, ports, airports), public spaces (public squares, parks, beaches), public services (water supply, sewage, electrical grid, dams), and other, usually long-term, physical assets and facilities. . Machining and Assembly Metal fabrication is the building of metal structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes. It is a value added process that involves the construction of machines and structures from various raw materials . Media and Entertainment The media and entertainment industry captures a wide variety of companies that serve to provide products and services that keep the everyday consumer engaged. There are a number of segments within the industry, each of which provides a different form of entertainment to consumers around the world. These segments include traditional print media, television, radio broadcasting, film entertainment, video games, advertising and perhaps most importantly, the manufacturers of the technology that the above segments rely on. . Industrial Services and Supply Engineering management is a specialized form of management that is concerned with the application of engineering principles to business practice. Engineering management is a career that brings together the technological problem-solving savvy of engineering and the organizational, administrative, and planning abilities of management in order to oversee complex enterprises from conception to completion. . Commercial Service and Supply The Commercial Services & Supplies industry consists of companies engaged in the manufacturing of office furniture and supplies, such as desks, cabinets, display shelves, writing utensils, staplers and other commercial supplies. The industry also includes commercial support services, such as cleaning, educational, security, employment, office equipment rental, management consulting, architectural/interior design, payroll, accounting, basic data processing, credit agencies and other widely used services .

A special economic zone (SEZ) is a geographical region that has economic laws that are more
liberal than a country's domestic economic laws. India has specific laws for its SEZs.
The category 'SEZ' covers a broad range of more specific zone types, including Free Trade Zones
(FTZ), Export processing zones (EPZ), Free Zones (FZ), Industrial Estates (IE), Free ports, Urban
Enterprise Zones and others. Usually the goal of a structure is to increase foreign direct
investment by foreign investors, typically an international business or a Multi National
Corporation (MNC)
