Implications for St. Scholastica’s College
• GE teachers should be retooled to become generalists, or experts in at least TWO domains of knowledge.
• Permanent teachers can take advantage of the two transition years to get a second graduate degree (with CHED funding).
• Non-permanent teachers can reinvent themselves to become GE teachers; there will be a big demand.
• Major subject teachers should check the new curriculums.
• Major subject teachers should raise their entrance requirements.
• Graduate school teachers should revise admission and thesis requirements.
