Key to abbreviations Categories of registrationDiploma Programme (DP) candidates must register in one of four categories: Diploma: Candidates intending to complete the requirements for the award of an IB Diploma.Retake*: Previous IB Diploma candidates who are seeking to improve their results by retaking one or more subjects.
