Hype = The Right Fit!Case Study: Hype hired “Elle Woods Look-A-Likes” to spread the word about MTV’s Legally Blonde: Search for the Next Elle Woods!

Who: Hype hired female brand ambassadors that resembled the Legally Blonde character, Elle Woods, to generate buzz for MTV Show.

What: The girls hit the streets of NY to promote the show, traveling to the Morning Shows, Sampling and taking photos with people outside Palace Theater and also sampling/meeting with people throughout NYC (Midtown/Downtown locations including Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Courthouse).

The Result: Not only did they STOP TRAFFIC! The show’s premiere was one of MTV’s highest tune-ins!!


Hype = Outrageous MarketingCase Study: Hype sets a new standard with a multi-tiered Marketing campaign for The Starter Wife!Who: Hype hired a hand-selected group of female brand ambassadors to generate hipster buzz on a local level for The Starter Wife, a six-hour television mini-series starring Debra Messing.

Where: 10 Major Markets- NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, DC, Detroit, Philly, and San FranThe Result: Overwhelming response from the target audience- its two hour premiere on May 31 2007 averaged 5.4 million viewers!!

What: Street Teams and Buddy Scooter Brigade- In top ten markets during the week of May 24, a group of branded ambassadors dressed in branded juicy sweat suits traveled together handing out branded products and fake diamond rings. As an overlay in LA and NYC, a group of 5 reps dressed in the same attire rode around on pink branded Buddy Scooters throughout heavily trafficked areas with vanity plates reading “Wife Goes On.”


Hype = SolutionsCase Study: Hype Launches Stok Product to the “All-Nighter” crowdWho: Hype designed, managed, and staffed the Stok Product Launch in Nightclubs and Commuter Locations in 6 Major Markets.

What: Stok Brand Ambassadors coordinated with local nightclub accounts to set up “Stok Nights” in each establishment. The Stok girls generated buzz and excitement about the new brand by handing out full-size samples and fun give a ways. The Stok girls also hit up busy commuter locations on Monday mornings to intercept the target audience heading back to work.

Where: 6 Major Markets over 6 Months- Tampa, Orlando, Dallas, Nashville, Baltimore, and Detroit.

The Result: Overwhelming response to the product- client started a website to continue the “Stok Nights” in different cities!


Hype = Proven ResultsCase Study: Hype brings NBC’s Grease show to the streets!Who: Hype hired a hand-selected group of Sandy and Danny look-a-like brand ambassadors to hit the streets and create overwhelming awareness of the premiere of the new show on NBC, “You’re the One That I Want.”

What: The group of brand ambassadors encouraged the target consumers to sing and dance along with them in the streets, while they handed out branded premium items and delivered key message points. They made quite a buzz on the streets acting out scenes for the popular Grease production!

The Result: The word spread and the buzz got out! The debut of the show scored NBC’s highest rating in this time period. The team was featured on/in:
