Q: Will animals be present in the party room for guests to interact with regardless of the activities you choose?

A: No, you must choose Special Animal Guest as one of your activities in order for animals to be brought up into the party room for guests to interact with.

Q: What type and how many animals will be brought into the party during the Special Animal Guest activity?

A: Puppies are usually the type of animal used for this activity, but we cannot guarantee it. The number brought in depends on what animals are available in the

shelter at the time of the party. Since we are a shelter who encourages adoptions and pets going to their “forever homes” as soon as possible, we sometimes have no

young puppies in the shelter. You can, however, be certain that we will have friendly dogs to play with the guests and make them smile.

Q: Can I bring my own food in?

A: Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own food. We just ask that you provide the necessary plates, napkins, cups, and utensils for any food that you bring.

Q: How much time do the guests spend on the activities?

A: Each activity lasts about 20-30 minutes.

Q: When do I make the final payment?

A: Your final payment will be processed after the party, typically the next week day.

Q: What is the maximum number of guests?

A: The Gold and Platinum collar packages include 20 guests, including the birthday boy or girl; how-

ever the maximum is 25 guests. Up to 5 additional guests can be added for an additional cost. Guests

are considered those who participate in the activities, eat provided food, and take home a goody bag.

Q: What is the youngest age you will do a party for?

A: We recommend parties for ages 6 and older. For safety reasons parties for children under 6 years old are limited to 10-12 guests.

Q: Can I add additional time to my party booking?

A: Yes, as long as we have availability, additional time can be added on to your party if you have chosen the Gold or Platinum Collar Packages. An additional half

hour is $50.00. Prices include the use of the birthday room, party staff, and choice of one additional activity (optional). Not applicable for the Silver Collar.

Q: What can we do if we would like guests to make donations in addition or instead of bringing gifts to the party?

A: Shelter wish lists can be found in your confirmation letter, in the invitations that can be purchased or come with the Platinum party, or on our website.
