• There will obviously be quite a few written responses but we will also be encouraging you to use your ICT skills as often as possible.

Source WorkWorking with and investigating sources is an important part of learning within History. In pairs you will each be given a source.

•What can you see in the source (images, words, people, buildings, landscape, etc)? Annotate this on the source.•Which part of HK is depicted in the source?•In which time period do you think the photograph was taken?•How does the source represent Hong Kong’s history? Undertake some research if you are unsure.•Why is the source important?•Give the source a title and a caption based on your research?

about the country we live in? In groups of 4 brainstorm key

events regarding the history of Hong Kong. Start by using your own knowledge

and explanations before using your laptop to research.

Unit Objective• The production of a group video that

focuses on an important aspect of Hong Kong’s history.

• Video should last between 5-7 minutes and demonstrates research skills, team skills and AV skills.
