THE ITINERARY: Day 1 Depart JFK to Tel Aviv Day 2 Istanbul/Tel-Aviv/Tiberias: Arrive Tel-Aviv, Israel. Upon arrival we will be met and assisted through customs and driven to our hotel. Overnight in Tiberias. (D) Day 3 Tiberias: We begin our first day in the beautiful Galilee area with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee followed by a view of the famous ancient boat, which dates back to the time of Jesus. We continue to the holy sites where the ministry of Jesus began, Mt beatitudes, Capernaum, and Tabgha where the miracle of the multiplication of the 5 loaves and 2 fish and the Feeding of the 5,000 took place. We cap this thrilling day by climbing up the beautiful Golan Heights for a panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee from the Mitzpe Shalom observation deck. Overnight in Tiberias. (B, D) Day 4 Tiberias: We start our day by heading toward Nazareth. On our way, we will stop at the Wedding Church where we will have the opportunity to renew our vows to Christ and to each other. After a short visit we will continue to the historic ruins of Caesarea, once the pride of the Herodian Kingdom. We will learn about its rich History and see the first inscription ever to mention Pontius Pilate. Our next stop will be at Tel Megiddo, the most famous Tel in the Holy Land, also known as Armageddon. We move on to the famous Carmel Mt. for a spectacular panoramic view at Muhraka where Elijah challenged the false prophet of Baal. Overnight in Tiberias. (B, D) Day 5 Jerusalem: An early start in the morning gets us to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the banks of the Jordan River. We will then continue via the Jordan valley south towards Jerusalem. We will pass by Jericho and start our ascent to the Goldan City following the path Jesus took when he made his pilgrimage to the Holy City. Our first stop will be the top of Mt. of Olives. From here we will go down the mountain to the Garden of Gethsemane and on along the Kidron Valley to Mt. Zion. We will visit the room of the last supper before crossing to Bethlehem. Here we shall visit the Church of Nativity and have some time for shopping before returning to our hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D) Day 6 Jerusalem: Today we enjoy a full day tour of Jerusalem's Old city. We start at St. Anne church where we will have the best singing experience that Jerusalem can offer. On to the Via Dolorosa (way of the cross) and the colorful bazaar and market of Jerusalem for lunch and shopping opportunities. We then tour the Jewish quarter and visit the Davidson Center and the Wailing Wall. Our tour will culminate with a worship service at the peaceful, serene Garden Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D)

Day 7 Jerusalem/Jordan: Following breakfast, we head out to the southern lands of Israel en route to the amazing Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Setting out on this unforgettable adventure, we shall learn about the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran, and the heroic struggle of the Jewish rebels at Masada. It is here where we cross over to Jordan. Overnight Movenpick Dead Sea Resort (B, D) Day 8 Jordan: Free morning at the Dead Sea for time to swim and relax. After lunch we drive to the city of Jerash, known as the Pompeii of the East. It is also known as the city of a thousand Pillars. We will have time to walk around the ancient ruins, which included churches dating back to the 4th century. Overnight at Movenpick Dead Sea Resort (B, D) Day 9: Free Morning to relax at the resort. After lunch we drive to Petra. On the road we will stop at Mount Nebo where Moses saw the land of Caanan before dying (the land of Milk and Honey). We continue to Madaba, the city of Mosaics and then arrive in Petra Overnight at the Movenpick Petra Hotel (B, D) Day 10 Amman/USA: Petra, one of the new 7 wonders of the world, was built by the Nabateans 2,000 years ago. Enter through the Siq to this beautiful and mysterious city. From winding roads, you will gaze upon the exquisite rose-red Treasury. After lunch we will visit the Monastery, Roman Theatre and the Royal Tombs. Dinner and overnight in Petra. Movenpick Hotel (B, D) Day 10 Petra/Amman: Drive to Amman and overnight at Holiday Inn Airport. (B, D) Day 11 Amman/JFK Early hours Flight to JFK

Tour Leader: Fadel Gad Fadel Gad, noted Egyptologist and President and Founder of Joy Travel International, has been leading educational tours of Egypt and the Middle East for more than 20 years. Fadel Gad most recently served as Executive Producer for public television specials on Egyptian archaeology. Originally from Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, Fadel Gad

received his Master’s in Archaeology, Ancient Egyptology, and Islamic Art at Cairo University. He served as an archaeologist of Antiquities for Egypt. His field experience includes excavations in Fostat, Saqqara, Cellia, and the Monastery of Abo Henes. His comprehensive knowledge of ancient Egypt has enabled him to fill lecture halls, where he frequently lectures on Egyptian mythology and the ancient Egyptian concept of gods and goddesses.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES Reservation and Payment A deposit of $500 per person will be required at the time of booking. Final payment will be due 60 days prior the departure. It is the responsibility of the traveler (or his agent) to determine that final payment reaches the Tour Operator on time. On bookings made within 60 days of departure date, full and final payment will be due immediately upon booking. No booking will be considered until the Tour Operator receives final deposit. Cancellation and Refunds Cancellations must be received by the Tour Operator in writing within 60 days of travel date. Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure will have a penalty of $500 per person: those received between 46 and 31 days will have a penalty of 50% per person; those received between 30 and 15 days will have a penalty of 75% per person. Cancellations received 14 days or less before departure or “no shows” will receive no refund. No refund will be made for transfers, city tours or any other services (including meals, accommodations or transportation) voluntarily not taken. While Joy Travel welcomes all travelers on our tours, the excursions are fast paced and can be physically demanding. Egypt does not maintain the same strict standards for disabled access, and as such Joy Travel cannot guarantee accessibility for wheelchairs, walkers, and other special aids at hotels, restaurants, museums and other attractions. Travelers needing assistance might not be able to fully participate in our tours. This is out of our control and we cannot refund the cost for any activity in which travelers are unable to participate.
