Assallamu Alaykum,
Great to see your website and the number of other useful sites there. I am interested in acquiring
book on Islamic concept of Human Rights.
I am currently crafting a module for Human Rights Training that we hope to conduct for our
BangsaMoro brothers and Muslim reverts brothers who are frequently the object or the target of
corrupt police, military and other law enforcers in the Philippines.
Just last Friday 7 January www.inq7.net or www.philstar.com 16 Muslims mostly Dawah workers were
arrested on the pretext that said men and women were out to plot bomb black Nazarene processions
in Quiapo. They were all untrue and some were released the next day.
I wanted to design the moduele in such a way that Islam and the Roman concept of Human Rights
is integrated. In such a way it can be useful to both dawah, lay workers or paralegal workers.
Will that be possible? If so how much will it cost? Hope it wont cost us that much as we are not a big
private organization.

Assalamalaykum Dr,
No, i'm from the corner of Slade Lane and Collingwood Rd. I don't know if
you'll remember.
Anyway, my first dream:
I leave my bedroom and look down the lobby out the window and I see a BIG
insect-like creature crawl across the outside. As I walk down the stairs I
look at the front door and see the creature through the glass in the door
frame and I ignore it and walk into the living room where two of my brothers
are sat. When I go in, my mum walks in behind me and says, "There's
something in my room." She walks out of the living room infront of me and I
follow. As we walk out the door into the lobby, there is a slightly smaller
creature inside on the wall and it begins to say something. As soon as it
begins to say something I put my arms around my mum and begin reading the
Ayatul-kursi.
My brother then woke me up because I was reading it out loud in the morning.
Now, my second dream:
I am walking through an arcade machine room (games room) with my cosuin and
younger brother. As we are leaving the room my brother tilts to one side and
shouts in pain. As I walk towards him he begins to throw punches at
something invisible and at the same time running away from it. So, I chase
after him, when I get hold of him I put my arms around him and begin to read
the Ayatul-Kursi whilst he is trying his best to shake me off. When I am
half way through reading, my brother manages to push me off him and runs
through a door towards some stairs. At the bottom of the stairs I grab hold
of him and put my arms around him one more time and continue reading the
Ayatul-Kursi. As soon as I finish reading it, my brother calms down and puts
his hands down.
I then woke up.
I hope inshaAllah you will be able to help me. I have been advised by a
friend to purchase a book on dreams by Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips. I look
forward to hearing from you.

On Monday 17th January 2005, at 7pm
Human stem cells open up exciting medical possibilities to treat hitherto untreatable degenerative
diseases by producing suitable replacement cells. At this early stage in the science, embryonic stem
cells seem to be the most likely source of the widest range of cell types and thus of treatments, but
they raise major ethical problems over the inherent ethical status of the embryo. For some, the early
embryo is just a ball of cells with no formed human characteristics, justifying research for medical
benefit. For others, all research on the embryo is unacceptable on principle because the embryo is as
fully human in status as a baby.
Dr Donald Bruce has been Director of the Society, Religion and Technology Project of the Church of
Scotland since 1992. He previously spent 15 years in chemistry research in nuclear energy and safety
and risk assessment. He holds doctorates in chemistry and theology. The SRT Project was established
in 1970 to address ethical and social issues arising from modern technology. He teaches ethics for
biotechnology students, is much involved with public engagement and participation on science issues,
and is a frequent writer and broadcaster.

to all the Hajii's in Mecca. A very happy prosperous and joyous Eid day
from me & my family to you and yours May you all have a blessed day. As in
previous emails I will ask once again if I have done anything to hurt upset you may you and
Allah forgive me Please as most of us do live in non Muslim lands I beg you all
to try and follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAWS. He used to
forgive all and even his enemies had trust in him. And for the love of Allah I ask all who
have had disagreements with a family member to call and invite them to your Eid dinner.
(It's is Haram to remain angry at your Muslim brother for more than three days ) Also,
there are many Muslims who have no one in this country would please open your home and
your heart and invite them for dinner? While we are having our fun filled, musical,
joyous, melodious day with new clothes shoes and giving ... let us not forgot the hundreds
of thousands that died in the most horrific tragedy of the Tsunami, among whom were
over 100,000 of our Muslim Ummah. May Allah grant their souls peace and Jannet-ul-
Firdous Amin....... Please donate kindly and generously to your local Muslim charities. On
this day of sacrifice. I ask you to search deep in your hearts and sacrifice something for
the love of Allah, Masha'Allah and Allhumdoillah look at our beloved Prophet Abraham AS
he was even willing to sacrifice his son! SubhanAllah ....Allah O`Akber!
May Allah guide our blind Muslim Ummah through these difficult trials and
tribulations. Amin !!!!!!!!! Last but not least it is always better to give than to receive
so what you giving me? LOLL Have a joyous Eid day and the rest of your year.

Eid al-Adha
It is a road-map to success and a reminder of the standard of excellence, great devotions and triumph of high achievements. It charts the direction
in the battle of life for those who does actually strive to do deeds and reach for their goal, their prize. The promised prize that no human being could imagine the joys kept hidden as reward for all that they did, await
at the end of the road. The eye has seen not, nor the ear heard, nor does the heart of man ever conceive.
Abraham was certainly a model of faith for the people, obedient to Allah and upright. Allah pay back people who do good and this event is one of
the proofs of Allah mercy thus indeed do doers of goods rewarded.
A great event when Abraham and his son Ishmael passed the trial successfully. We offer remembrance of Allah’s blessings, celebrate His
name and offer the ‘eid salaat to give thanks for sending us guidance and map to tread through the life's path.
There should be no room for emotions which go against the commands and prohibitions of Allah. Eid teach us to trust that He shall not give us more than what we can bear. He will either shield us from suffering or will give us unfailing strength to bear it. Was it not said to “follow My Guidance,
no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow”? Certainly Allah knows best and was best witness when Ishmael said:
"O my father! Tie my hands and legs so that I do not struggle. Put a blindfold over your eyes so that you do not have to see me die
And tighten your cloak so that my mother does not see my blood splattered on your clothes. Make your knife sharp so that you can do your job quickly. That way I will feel no pain."
Peace be upon Ibrahim. Indeed this was a clear trial.
Eid al-Adha is a light that shine our way near and far,
The love of Ibrahim for Allah was true, tested by fire to stay forever. Devotion so endless, will always light the way.
It is a light that could shine the difficult ways in times of trials. We can do more than just lament the flaws of the Muslim Ummah, for a better world to live and
make the word of Allah dominant in the world. If we can all sacrifice what we love most for Love of Allah as Ibrahim did to his son Ishmael. Only then we will know the power and wisdom of Eid al-Adha and deserve what Allah has promised, to grant succession and security after fear. If we can stand strong in the middle of trials and hardships, know that surely Allah help will find way to shine through.
This event also reminds us of one of the pillar of Islam, the hajj. It manifests a unique unity, dispelling all kinds of differences. Muslims from all corners of the
world, wearing the same dress, respond to the call of Hajj in one voice and language: LABBAIK ALLA HUMMA LABBAIK (Here I am here I am O lord!).
Hajj is a great congress that gives an opportunity to Muslims all over the world to meet annually. The time, venue and even the invitation has been set by the One
True God when Allah, the Almighty, said to Ibrahim: "You call, and I will convey your call."
"Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; And consult with them in ways that are best and most gracious."
(Al Qur'an, 16:125) Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment........................ thank God.

Whilst recently looking on the internet I came accross your website, Alhamdolillah.
I am an ex-pupil of yours and wish to apologise for stating that I had seen many Islamic dreams when
in fact I had never seen any.

As i mentioned... i was out of station for month and a half.. now i m back from the holidays...
Hope u have remembered!!!!
well... this time i saw a dream...
but I m bit confused about something in it...
I saw my self on the Mazar of Piya Haji Ali (India). I was there and there were some women... lying on the bed just near the Grave... n those were the women who are caught by the Jinss. Then one of the women gave me a Diary and the nose of the women was like a trunk of an elephant... and while giving it she instructed me... that this Diary will help me alot... i gave that Diary to my twin sister she kept it in a cupboard, n after some time my elder sister bought it for me.. as soon as i get the diary.. i get back to the Mazar... and near the Grave of Piya Haji Ali.. there is one water pond... and i blew a candle(Diya) in it.And lilly flowers(Blossomed pink colored) were also there n the pond."
well i dont know what does it mean.. but i will be looking forward for your earl;iest reply.
