MTS IRTs to coordinate multi-agency crime scene investigation, evidence exploitation, analysis, suspects interviewing and crew debriefing.

The SMYRNI Post-release IRT • 8 March 2013 MTS deployed an IRT to Salalah, Oman to coordinate

and facilitate Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and crew debriefings

• 12 members from the NCIS and FBI joined the mission to conduct the CSI and the 26 crew members debriefs

• Mission conducted with minimum of impact to the vessel’s operation
