Narayan Venkat is Chief Marketing Officer at Tegile Systems. In this role, he leads the overall
marketing organization that includes product marketing, product management, corporate
communications, channel marketing and demand generation. Narayan has 20+ years of marketing
and product experience with enterprise storage, virtualization and data management. Before joining
Tegile, Narayan served as Vice President of products and marketing for Violin Memory. Prior to Violin,
he was Vice President of the cloud infrastructure business unit at VMware, Earlier leadership
experience include senior marketing roles at LSI Corporation’s Engenio Storage Group, OnStor,
NetApp and Intel.
George Crump is the founder of Storage Switzerland, the leading storage analyst focused on the

widely recognized for his articles, white papers, and videos on such current approaches as all-flash
