Provide workshops and deliver presentations on a range of H.E. related topics and run Next Step Sessions
Host update sessions and conferences for school/college staff
Attend UCAS Conventions, HE Fairs, Parents and Careers events
Co-organise and co-host the Central London UCAS Convention
Keep a database of contacts from Schools/Colleges from across the UK
Assist at Open Days and during Clearing

Be Engaging – use examples they can relate to
No totem poles please – be relaxed and approachable
Do not patronise or talk down to the young people
If you need to make a call or send some emails- move away from the stand, go for a walk
Do not sit and read, even if it is really quiet
Do not oversell a programme or try to convince them to change their minds
Top Tips
Bring cash to purchase lunch or purchase something before hand

Arrive early
If you came to deliver a presentation, and we have a stand, why not join us?
Do not pack up early, stay till the end of the event
Gauge how long the student has, if they are trying to get away, let them go
