The Neighbors Link mission is to strengthen the whole
community through the healthy integration of immigrants.
Our strategies to achieve our mission are through education, employment, legal
services and empowerment for the immigrant community. Neighbors Link also engages all residents in dialogue about integration and
creates volunteer opportunities for students and adults. We have over 100 substantive partnerships with businesses, government, law enforcement, schools, healthcare, and other local organizations. Neighbors Link
operates throughout Westchester County and has locations in Mount Kisco (headquarters),
Ossining and Yonkers.

CYNTHIA BRILL, ESQ.
Cynthia Brill, Esq. is General Counsel of NewsGuard Technologies, Inc., a company that provides software to identify fake online news and information websites and assess their reliability using trained journalists.
Cynthia joined the Neighbors Link Board in May 2010 and was Chair of the Board from 2015 – 2019. Cynthia led the Board with a strategic focus toward advocacy, immigration legal services and a higher statewide profile for the organization. Her legal expertise was critical in Neighbors Link’s acquisition of the Legal Practice in 2016 and was instrumental in revamping our overall legal strategy.
Previously she has served as General Counsel of Journalism Online and General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Verified Identity Pass, Inc.; Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Brill Media Holdings, L.P.; and General Counsel of American Lawyer Media, L.P. and Court TV. She founded and wrote the newsletter Corporate Control Alert, a monthly publication owned by American Lawyer Media. Cynthia also practiced law as a commercial
litigator in New York City. She received her BA from Yale University and her JD from New York University School of Law.
Cynthia has served on the Boards of Phoenix House; the New York League of Conservation Voters; the Asphalt Green; and the Fund for Public Advocacy, where she was a volunteer assistant to Betsy Gotbaum, Public Advocate of the City of New York. She also served on the Major Gifts Committee for the Fund for the Met at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was Chair for the Yale 30th Reunion Class Gift; Reunion Chair for her class reunion; and currently serves on the Steering Committee of Yale 50/150, a celebration of Yale Coeducation. Prior to law school, Cynthia worked for the City of New York in the Office of Neighborhood Government. She is a former member of Community Board 8 in Manhattan, and served on capital campaigns for the Brearley School and the Collegiate School. She is married with two daughters and one son.
Gabby Rosenfeld Be A Hero Award
andrew tisch Andrew H. Tisch is Co-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Loews Corporation. He holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University (1971) and a M.B.A. from Harvard University (1977). In addition to Loews, he serves on the Boards of Directors of CNA Financial Corporation and Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. He is active at Harvard Business School (Dean’s Board of Advisors), Cornell University former Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman, Dean’s Board of Advisors, SC Johnson College of Business), NYU/Tisch School of the Arts (Co-Chair Dean’s Council), The Young Women’s Leadership Network (Co-Founder) and is on the Executive Committee of the Board of Overseers at Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell Tech. Mr. Tisch is one of the founders of The No Labels Coalition and Vice Chairman of the Center for U.S. Global Leadership.
He participates in many civic organizations including the Economic Club of New York (Past Chairman), The Brookings Institution (Trustee), NY Historical Society (Vice Chairman) and the Council on Foreign Relations. He is the Chairman of NYC Police Foundation, serves on the boards of the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Society, Museum of the Moving Image, and Smithsonian National Advisory Board. He is active in Jewish communal affairs through the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (Trustee/Executive Committee) and the Jewish Business Leadership Forum (Founder). He is the author of Journeys: An American Story, a book about immigration and America. Mr. Tisch is married to journalist and educator Ann Rubenstein and lives in New York.
