• The Forbidden City is located in what is now known as Beijing• The Forbidden City was built between 1,200 and 1,400 years ago.• The Forbidden City was built to protect the emperors• Emperor Yung Lo built the Forbidden city for the rich people• The Forbidden city was built out of gold bricks and other materials

Inside:

There are 9,999 rooms in the Forbidden city.It is not only one palace, but has many buildings. It has tons of gold silver and bronze

Outside

• They have courtyards outside• On the outside they have a huge moats to keep out intruders.• They have giant walls that close at night.

The Forbidden City Today

Today, the Forbidden City is used as a museum. Many tourist go there to explore and investigate Chinese artifacts.
