JRuth WHITLOCK, nee COOMBS died on the 23rd August 1883 at College Street, WyndhamPark, Milford, by cutting her left wrist with a razor. Inquest held on 24th August 1883.

dTom WHITLOCK, my Grandfather, died on the 28.7.1955 at Ashurst Hospital, AshurstElizabeth Lilian WHITLOCK, died 22.11.1955 at St Francis Hospital, Haywards Heath, SussexAt times of death both officiallylived at 106, Northumberland Road, Southampton. However thereason why Elizabeth Lilian WHITLOCK, died in Sussex was that she was in a poor state ofhealth. She was both blind and deaf, and for a number of years prior to her death, both her andher husband, Tom, were looked after by the youngest daughter Rosina. It was decided that, inorder to give Rose a break, my mother, Ivy, would take a turn in looking after her mother, shetherefor came to stay with us at Nether Walstead, a village outside Haywards Heath. Howeverduring her stay she deteriorated mentally and was taken to St Francis Hospital where she died.Her favourite song was Down by the Old Bull & Bush, and she was always singing it. She alsothought that she had a beard, which she did not.
William Jenner WHITLOCK, was born with a club foot
Lilian Ruth WHITLOCK, married William Wi\LLACE, and she died on 8.5.1975 at MoorgreenHospital, West End Southampton.
Violet Laura Kathleen WHITLOCK, married Reginald Ralph ELLIOTT, and she died on the 28thNovember 1959 at her home address of64, Heather Road, Fawley.
Rosina Mary WillTLOCK, never married and she died as a result of a road traffic accident inWells Road, Glastonbury, Somerset on the 12.11.197~ She was on her way to do a SchoolCrossing (She was a lollipop lady) when her motorbike was hit by a lorry. She died in hospital inBristol on 25.11.1975. At the time of her death Rosina was residing at 159, Wells Road,Glastonbury .
George James WH~TLOCK, married Phyllis Bessie JONES, nee COOK at Dorking Registry kOffice, Surrey in 1930. They had one child, Georgina Phyllis May WHITLOCK, born 16.5.1933.Phyllis Bessie WHITLOCK was born on the 6th November 1891.
Information received ITomGeorge James WHITLOCK, about his father's family, is that not muchwas known. The only information he had is as tollows:-
A sister with a first name of Liza, her married name was LAND, and that they resided at 45,Malva Road or Close, off Garrett Lane, Wandsworth, London SW 18. She had a lot of children.
A brother, who he believed was called Alfred and he lived in Putney
A brother called George, known as Punch, died in Bognor and was a Golf Caddie
A sister named Nell, who lived in Bristol, lived with a man with a first name of Stanley, who wasa tram driver.
