In the picture above is a very clever input towards the film, showing the differentiation between

human and beast and also the hybrid ideas with the film and future. Within this dream sequence

Victoria is having a baby when that moment she looks up to realise that she has received a gigantic

maggot for a child, which is really terrifying in respect to reality and thinking of the worst possibility

would always be the case. Victoria is Key in the storyline to hold the human reality to the situation and

with her being a journalist she documents and wants to know more about the situation helping theviewer see through her eyes to the different stage of transformation, but Victoria can only sit by and

watch helplessly as his body and mind disintegrate ( Bracke, 2007)

The moment when BrundleFly vomits to liquefy his food to then eat it, is quite disgustingand mentally scarring, especially when he uses it in the dramatic final sequence of the film towhich he Vomits on Legs to stop him moving and his hand to stop him retaliating, this vision isDavid Cronenbergs adaptation of the human fly and he represents it very well to hisimagination and helps the viewer understand the transformation and the changes the humanmakes from Humanity to the monster fly hybrid.
