This conference will offer opportunities to discuss innovation and to showcase improvements made, or that could be made in the service delivery to create a better experience for our patients and their significant others. People who work in the Emergency Care focused disciplines do exceptional things on a daily basis and often the simplest improvements made can have the greatest impact. For the purposes of sharing these improvements so no improvement is too small. ACEN is now accepting oral presentation abstracts for this unique event. Share your practice innovations, evidence-based projects, quality improvement initiative, or original research by applying to become a presenter for “All Hands on Deck” 2017. General Policies and Requirements for Submission of Abstracts: All abstracts must be received by the Conference Managers no later than 5pm Friday 11November 2016. All submitting authors will be notified of the results of the review of abstracts by Monday 5December 2016. It is a condition of acceptance that all presenters must be registered delegates. The Australian College of Emergency Nursing and Education at Sea is not able to provide funding for presenters. However, all accepted presenters who register by the deadline, and for the full conference, will be eligible for $100 dollars of on board credit. If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the conference before Tuesday 31January 2017. Papers will not be scheduled for presentation until registration has been received. Presenters must be available to present on any of the conference days, as assigned by the Conference Committee. All abstracts must contain original work. The presenting author must submit the abstract. All abstracts must be prepared according to the guidelines provided. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure that the abstract is submitted correctly and received by the Conference Convener by the deadline. The Conference Convener will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received. Abstracts must be 300 words or less (including references) and must not contain figures or tables. Submission of Abstracts: We are looking for new and innovative strategies for addressing challenges in today’s emergency healthcare environment with paramedics, nurses, doctors, managers, educators, researchers, and others who practice in any of the varied emergency care settings. Abstract submissions are being accepted now through [email protected] . Author Notifications: Monday 5December 2016. Presentations will be 30 minutes duration with an additional 15 – 20 minutes allocated for questions and discussion. All abstracts must contain original work. Start your tour with a panoramic drive through the western seaside part of the island and thevillage of Bella Vista (also known as Lakones). Bella Vista, (means: nice view) is one of thebest spots on the island to enjoy stunning views over Paleokastritsa and the Meditteranean,natural scenery of Corfu, which combines green areas and blue shores. Continue theexploration of Corfu through the charming village of Makrades, the Troumbetta Pass andScripero village. Drive along the fertile valley of Ropa and make a stop at Agios Yannis villageat a Koum Kouat Liquer distillery. Koum Kouat is a local specialty. During your stay at thedistillery enjoy a guided visit, watch an informative film on the production of Koum Kouat,have a liqueur tasting and for those you wish, you can buy local products made by this raresmall fruit. Leave the distillery behind and on your way back home enjoy a brief stop atKanoni area, named after a canon, which formerly was protecting the entrance to the port.Kanoni offers amazing views over the bay and over the landmark of Corfu, the “MouseIsland”, a small islet with a little chapel on it. You will be transferred from the ship by colorful local boat to Athinios where you will join thewaiting motor coach. Driving through picturesque villages, you will reach the modern facilities ofSanto Wines. Santo Wines winery, situated at Pyrgos village, is built in 5 different levels so thatthe building is in harmony with the surrounding environment and the vineyards that arespreading out in different ground levels forming the traditional “pezoules” From a technologicalpoint of view, the winery is built in different levels so that during the winemaking process themust is transferred by the gravity phenomenon with the minimum use of pumps, technique thatprotects and promotes the quality of our wines. Depart from the port of Mykonos and be taken to Aghios Ioannis for a first photo stopoffering a beautiful view on the neighbor island Delos. Continue your tour to Mera andvisit the monastery. The excursion continues to Kalafati beach for a refreshment stop of45 minutes and/or for a short swim. Your next stop will be in Mykonos town, where youwill start your exploration of Mykonos on foot. Starting the walking tour you will followthe guide through the Old Town to Little Venice, which got its name due to the housesand cafes build directly by the water. See the famous Windmills, where the grain used tobe milled for the bread flour. On the way, see the cathedral Paraportiani with its localartists gathered around, the typical houses and numerous chapels. Discover the laby-rinth and beauties of the old Town walking along the narrow streets and alleys seeingthe daily life as well as the town’s interesting architecture. End up the walking tour atwith free time for shopping before meeting your group again to re-embark your coachand drive back to the port and your ship.

This tour visits Ravenna which is known for having monuments listed on UNESCO's World Herit-age Sites list. All eight of these buildings were constructed in the 5th and 6th centuries by earlyChristians and they are well known for their mosaics. After meeting our private guide at the pierin Ravenna, we will immediately drive to the beautiful city center of Ravenna. Ravenna wasfounded almost 2000 years ago and it has been a capital on three occasions (capital of the West-ern Roman Empire, capital of the Ostrogothic Kingdom and capital of the Byzantine kingdom).These various cultural influences over its long history has left its mark on the city and result in thecharacter you will experience on this tour. Your tour will start in the pedestrian zone of Ravennawhere the city's eight UNESCO monuments are located. Among them you will see the Church ofSan Vitale which is a great example of architectural innovation due to its octagonal plan. You willmarvel at the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia which is entirely covered with beautiful mosaics. Youalso see the Church of Saint Francis with its waterlogged medieval crypt and the place where thepoet Dante was buried when he died in Ravenna. Another of the cities treasures isthe Basilica ofSaint Apollinare Nuovo which was built for Arian observances by Theodoric, king of the Goths. Inaddition to exploring some of these famous early Christian sites you will also enjoy an overall ori-entation of the city as you walk through medieval streets filled with small shops and picturesquelocations. The tour concludes with free time to explore the surrounding area, shop for souvenirsor sample the famous food and wine of the region before returning to the ship.
