INFORMATION FOR SPONSORS

The Congress Organizers are offering companies the opportunity tobecome sponsors to The First Asia Oceanic Conference of Sexology (FAOCS){9th Asian Congress of Sexology}, Bangkok, Thailand , 1-4 Nov 2006, enabling them to gain recognition for their company.

In the following list, various sponsorship options are mentioned from whichsponsors may select different elements up to the amount of their financialsupport. Companies can sponsor an element individually or - where possible, acceptable to all and appropriate - in combination with anothersponsor. In case a sponsor would like to organize an event before, during.or after the Congress - they need the approval of the organizers Sponsors cannot stage their own event parallel to congress events.

In addition to the general sponsorship of single items the Congress Organizers are offering companies the opportunity to become a special sponsor. For further details please see below. In principle all sponsors will be treated on a "first come, first served" basis.

Cancellation/Reduction

Notification of a sponsor to cancel sponsored items must be submitted to the Congress Organizer in writing. The effective date of cancellation or reduction of sponsor items will be the date on which the Congress Organizer receives the written notice.

Cancellation schedule

• After signing the Sponsor interest form, 40% of the full sponsor costs will be retained.

• After 31 August 2006, the sponsor will be responsible for 75% of the full sponsor costs.

• After 30 September 2006, no refunds are made.

Terms of payment

After the enclosed Sponsor Interest Form is received by the Congress Organizer,a confirmation and an invoice for the first non-refundable installment of 40% of the total amount will be sent and is due to be paid within one month after receipt. The balance of the full payment is due and payable before 30 September. 2006.

Deadline of Guarantee for the sponsor rights Should there be more applicants for a specific sponsor item/ sponsor package,

then these will be assigned by the organizers on a ‘first come, first served’ basis40% of the full sponsor costs must be paid by 15 August 2006 to guarantee the right of the sponsorship items.

5 Speaker’s Preparation Centre THB20,000Situated in Speaker Room, the speakers centre will be the heart of the scientific program presentation preparations. All presenters will be required to report to the speaker’s centre to ensure that their presentations are previewed and uploaded to a central server, The name of the exclusive sponsor will be displayed at the entrance to the centre.

6 Congress Satchel THB120, 000The congress satchel will be offered to all participants who have paid a registration fee and will probably be the most visible item at the Congress. The Satchel will contain the Program Book, Abstract Volume, a “World of Options” guide to Durban and other material appropriate to the Congress. Sponsorship will include corporate branding.

7 Final Program& Abstract Book THB150, 000Abstracts will be available only on book format. This is the essence of the Scientific Program and the delegates will all avail of it.The abstract book will be included in the Congress Satchel. 10 Audio Visual & Technical Services THB100, 000International Congresses apply advanced technology in terms of presentation media these days and digital slide shows though data projectors are rapidly becoming the norm in terms of methodology and equipment used. Recording of Keynote speakers, sound systems, lighting, and Internet connections, and dual projection are all fairly standard and these create an opportunity for sponsors to participate in the physical structure of the academic program. 13 Subsidy to the Congress Transport THB100,000Congress Shuttle Transport between the International Convention Centre and the appointed hotels for the duration of the congress will be provided. The hotel shuttle transportation will be scheduled to pick up delegates from the appointed hotels and convey them to the venue in time for the first sessions of the day and return them to their hotels at the end of business each day. The transport will also carry delegates to the social functions in the evening. Optional: Shell Scheme PackageExhibitors who do not wish to construct their own stand may order a shell scheme stand construction of an additional charge. Basic shell scheme construction contains: aluminum frame construction, open ceiling, white MDF wall panels 250 cm high by 100 cm width, fascia, fluorescent lights 2 per 9 square meters, and 1 wall socket (13 amp). The price per 9 square meters is THB 5000.00 (excluding VAT).

A limited number of smaller stands (tables only – no structures) would be available on the periphery of the exhibition area at a reduced rate.
