Hi, I’m Andy Shambrook. I was once a finance business partner, struggling

to influence decisions.

People said I was too ‘black and white’, and needed to ‘be more

commercial’. They would ask me to ‘bring the numbers to life’ and to ‘tell

the story behind the numbers’.

On my journey to becoming UK Finance Director for Dulux Paints, I

learned what they meant.

I then became a Sales Director, and gained a whole new perspective on
