Why Children are Obese

Obesity occurs through many reasons such as poor parenting, mental problems or disorders,

and genetics.

Why obesity is a problem

Obesity is a problem because not only is it related to one of the top killers in the country

cardiac arrest. But, it is also related to disease, disability, mental problems, and genetic

problems.

How to Make The Changes

• Educating parents on how to raise healthy children and build healthy eating and exercising habits

• Teaching kids about proper eating and exercising habits

• Interventions and intervention strategies to encourage overweight kids to live a healthier life style
