AdvIsOry BOArdPlant Based Summit is supported by the conferences programme’s advisory board, made up of experts of the sector who represent the whole international bio-based market.

In this fast-growing market, the bio-based che-mical industry has reached a new era: that of commercialization.

In April, Plant Based Summit 2015 will mark its invol-vement into the evolution of the plant-based, green and sustainable chemistry. Following the success of our 2nd edition in 2013 featuring more than 550 bio-based chemical players, Plant Based Summit has proven its capacity to gather decision-makers from the Industry and act as a meeting point helping to shape the future for the sector. With that same goal in mind, Plant Based Summit is launching its 3rd edition with an even more sharpened positioning on the innovation, the co-development and its operatio-nal implementation for the necessary deployment of bio-based products.

With a further international expansion in 2015, Plant Based Summit will strengthen its international position. As unique event dedicated to bio-based products, our conferences programme will debate on the issues that are of a specifi c interest to agro-industrial companies, chemical specialists and to end-use industrial fi rms in particular.

Holding its 3rd edition in Lille in 2015, located at geographic proximity to leading countries of the agro bio-based industry, with an easy access from Germany, Belgium, The United Kingdom and The Netherlands, Plant Based Summit will benefi t from an international presence! Coming from Brazil, India, The United States, China…the mem-bers of our advisory board and our panel of top speakers already refl ect the international face of our next edition!

Join the 75 exhibitors who will enable the 1 000 upstream to downstream decision-makers to target and discover future innovations and solu-tions. This will directly benefi t sourcing, production and commercialization processes in the bio-based chemical sector. In addition, our conferences pro-gramme will provide a genuine content where de-cision-makers will debate on regulations, policy, innovation, and their return on experience; all this programme showing the competitiveness and the international benchmarking of bio-based chemical products.

On the one hand, the ACDV, the French Association for Plant-Based Chemistry is driving the content and mobilizing its network for the success of the event.

On the other hand, as leading editing group in the industry’s markets (L’Usine Nou-velle, Formule Verte, Info chimie…), Infopro Digital has strong assets with its exper-tise and knowledge in downstream markets. The Plant Based Summit organisers’ strong position in the industrial landscape is key to allow the whole plant-based che-mistry value chain to be gathered again: agro-industrials, chemical intermediates, chemists, end-users… With a long-term approach and proven track records, both organisers secure the creation of a high-quality program to shape the future for the bio-based business.

The ACDV gathers about fi fty major French industrial actors of agroresources, chemistry and downstream industries that invest for the long-term development of bio-based chemistry.

Spearheading the association in Europe, the ACDV is:

● representing and promoting the bioeconomyThe Association drafts a serie of common positions and arguments, aimed at players in the bio-based chemical industry, the French and European authorities, the media and NGOs, so as to build an appropriate framework for the development of bio-based chemical intermediates and materials.

● Identifying major challenges facing the industryThis involves guiding the industry towards promising areas for their R&D efforts, and to promote innovation, particularly in the fi eld of industrial biotechnology, using demons-trations of future integrated biorefi neries.

● Intelligence on economic and technical feasibilityThis involves continuous investigations to evaluate current technological and eco-nomic trends in the bio-based chemical sector worldwide. The Association has also published a study dealing with the availability and mobilization of biomass for bio-based chemistry.

● Embarking the downstream value chainTo discuss various paths of action and development strategies for different market sectors (e.g. construction, personal care, transport, and packaging).

● standardizationThis involves the contribution to standardization of bio-based products on diverse to-pics such as terminology, bio-based content, sustainability and communication, as well as the elaboration of methodological guides about life cycle analysis.

InfoPro Digital is a leading BtoB information specialist in France. The group publishes several reference magazines read by 1.5 mil-

lion regular readers: Formule Verte, Info Chimie, Industrie Pharma, L’Usine Nouvelle, Emballages Magazine, Le Moniteur… The group also publishes several dozens of professional directories and reference guides…More than 200 shows addressing a wide range of sectors are organized each year: the automotive, aeronautics, coating, chemical, packaging industries…and thus gathering key industrial end-users for the bio-based market.
