A Parishioner In Good Standing is a Catholic

who believes in, fully embraces, and lives out

his or her faith in accordance with the teach-

ings of the Catholic Church. A parishioner In

Good Standing is a registered member of San

José Catholic Church to which he or she con-

tributes financially.

Starting January 1, 2019, Parishioners In Good

Standing, that have been In Good Standing for

a minimum of six months, will only be re-

quired an offering for “Music and Liturgy”

whenever they may need to use the church for

their family celebrations (funerals baptisms,

presentations, weddings, quince-ñeras, etc.)

Parishioners In Good Standing, and those reg-

istered and living in the same household, may

also receive a 10% discount when booking

church facilities that are available for lease.

1st Quarterly Ministry Meeting of 2019

Fr. Jairo and the Pastoral Council are proud to invite

the coordinators and contact persons of our 61 Minis-

tries and Organizations to gather at the Parish Hall on

Thursday, January 10th, at 7pm.

We ask you to come fellowship, take pictures, and

present the information needed to make an attractive

Welcome Brochure for visitors, guests, and new

parishioners. This information will also be posted on

our web site. The new Brochures will be available at

Church and in the Parish Office. And you will be in-

troduced to your new Finance and Pastoral Council

members.

Please bring a short mission statement or description

of your organization, meeting day, time, place, name

of contact person and contact number. You may also

bring your favorite desert and the Pastoral Council

will supply the coffee, chocolate, and water.

Our Ministries and Organizations are of Service, not of authority.
