As the Court will note in Paragraph 15 of the above-referenced Complaint,

Scottsdale Healthcare Hospitals, which was formerly known as Scottsdale Healthcare

Corporation, a Defendant in the present case, has admitted in a pleading that its attorneys

engaged in “Lien Work [which] entailed the pursuit of collection of unpaid healthcare bills

through the recordation and release of liens against delinquent patients . . . .” This is yet

another admission by a Defendant hospital that liens are collections against patients and

not, as Defendants claim, against third parties.
