Since combustion needs oxygen to perform, we make sure that there’s a space for air to circulate.

DISCUSSIONPOSITIVE NEGATIVE

SUPPLY CO2 TO PLANT-Carbon monoxide, for example, is able to be converted by the plant into carbon dioxide, which the plant can use readily for photosynthesis.

CONTAIN HARMFUL SUBSTANCES THAT INHIBIT PLANT GROWTH-

cigarette smoke harms plants' growth by interfering with their respiration,

photosynthesis and nutrition uptake.

CONCLUSION….

a)the cigarette smoke did gives positive and negative effect on plant growth.

b)the content in cigarette that affects the plant most are tar and carbon monoxide, despite other substance such as formaldehyde, ammonia, carcinogen, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT.
